One vaccination: protection may be insufficient

After just one dose, your puppy may remain vulnerable to serious infectious diseases. The vaccination series must continue. Moving to a new home is a demanding time: provide a calm environment and avoid potentially contaminated places and contact with unfamiliar animals until the veterinarian confirms protection.

We recommend the option with 3 vaccinations, with more stages completed before handover. The number of doses alone does not guarantee protection; the veterinarian checks age, the vaccination series and the intervals in the record.

Our recommendation: 3 vaccinationsSupplement to the base price: 160 €+14 days estimated
Preferred colour

Choose one or two colours. The estimate applies the larger supplement only once, without adding them. The final offer adjusts to the chosen puppy’s colour.

The colour choice guides the selection; availability is confirmed from the puppy's photos.
Pedigree

The pedigree certifies the puppy’s origin. Required for breeding with puppies registered in the studbook and for breed shows.

Pedigree means selecting a puppy with documented origin. The issuer and eligibility are confirmed before offer acceptance.
Vaccination and medical preparation

Choose the desired stage before handover. The vet sets vaccinations, intervals, and when the puppy can go.

The indicator shows the preparation stage, not measured immunity. The vet confirms protection and completion of the schedule based on age, vaccines and intervals between doses. What does puppy preparation mean?

The number of vaccinations does not guarantee completion of the schedule. The doctor checks the age, existing vaccines, and product used, then informs you of the next dose.

For EU departure, rabies vaccine is given no earlier than 12 weeks old after identification; the first vaccine must be valid for at least 21 days. Commercial preparation also includes passport, examination, and health certificate check.

Deworming and the health booklet accompany preparation. Microchipping and applicable RECS registration are separately provided in the summary: +30 €.

Only listed diseases that existed before handover are covered, supported by a licensed veterinarian’s diagnosis and records.

The period starts at actual handover: Standard 72 hours, Extended 336 hours. Report symptoms immediately, within 12 hours of noticing them and within the plan period, through the dossier, phone, WhatsApp or email. The team may register a timely notification. Do not delay care for paperwork; diagnosis, treatment and documents may be added later, including after expiry for a claim reported in time.

Mandatory veterinary examination: take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian within the first 2 working days after arrival and actual handover. The handover day, weekends and public holidays in the destination country are excluded. Keep a dated report identifying the puppy and recording the findings. This records health after arrival; infections or other problems may develop later, while stress and adjustment can affect wellbeing. Under the commercial guarantee, a missed examination may lead to refusal of a later claim if it prevents proof of the coverage conditions, considering all available veterinary records. Statutory rights are not automatically rejected. Seek immediate care for symptoms; this examination does not extend the guarantee or notification period.

Standard is included, without treatment reimbursement. For a confirmed covered pre-existing disease, the commercial remedy is an agreed puppy return and refund of the agency’s collected commission after return. Breeder-collected amounts are addressed separately with the breeder. A return requires safe arrangements and veterinary approval; medically unstable animals are not transported before stabilisation.

If an agreed commercial guarantee remedy requires returning the puppy, the customer arranges and pays for return transport, after agreeing the details in writing with the team and only with veterinary approval that transport is safe. A medically unstable animal must not be transported before being stabilised. This rule does not apply where mandatory law requires the seller or guarantor to pay for the return, including as part of a statutory remedy for non-conformity.

Commercial guarantee exclusions: giardiasis (Giardia), coccidiosis and other parasitic infections; kennel cough, including canine parainfluenza virus infection; minor illnesses outside the list of covered diseases, as diagnosed by a veterinarian; behavioural, temperament, adjustment or training issues; other diseases outside the selected plan or acquired after handover; accidents, poisoning and swallowing objects; problems caused by inappropriate food changes or failure to follow veterinary advice where causation is documented. Diagnosis and treatment are the veterinarian’s responsibility.

Diarrhoea, appetite loss, lethargy and coughing are symptoms; a veterinarian establishes the diagnosis and severity. Seek veterinary care promptly and do not delay consultation for paperwork.

The team reviews the diagnosis, tests, timeline, health booklet and treatment, may request further information, and records a reasoned decision on the claim in the dossier. Documents are private.

This commercial guarantee is additional to, and does not affect, free statutory remedies against the seller for non-conformity. Claims based on statutory rights are considered separately.

Extended costs RON 249 at the RON tariff; the selected currency and destination tariff is confirmed in the summary. For eligible diseases documented as pre-existing handover, reimbursement is at most 80% of eligible expenses actually paid and documented, capped at RON 1,000 cumulatively per puppy/order. The customer pays at least 20% and any excess above the cap. The cap remains in RON regardless of order currency. Examples with no earlier reimbursements: RON 500 eligible → at most RON 400 reimbursed; RON 1,500 eligible → at most RON 1,000 reimbursed. This is not insurance or an automatically granted budget.

Eligible Extended expenses: consultations, necessary diagnostic tests, prescribed treatment and necessary hospitalisation for the covered disease, evidenced by veterinary records, invoices and payment proof. Foreign currencies use the BNR rate on the payment date or last published rate. Costs already reimbursed elsewhere, transport, food, accessories, routine prevention/vaccinations/deworming and unrelated expenses are excluded.

Extended only: the team verifies the records and eligible expenses. Approved reimbursement cannot exceed 80% of those expenses or the remaining balance of the cumulative RON 1,000 cap. It is paid by transfer within 14 calendar days after confirmation of the complete file and approval, using privately agreed details. Standard does not reimburse treatment.

This commercial guarantee is additional to, and does not affect, free statutory remedies against the seller for non-conformity. Claims based on statutory rights are considered separately.

Shetland Sheepdog / Sheltie breeder or kennel: what should I check?

Can I choose a Shetland Sheepdog / Sheltie puppy with a pedigree?

The pedigree option depends on the puppy’s documented ancestry. Choosing it in the form is a request; documents, eligibility, cost and timing are confirmed for the proposed puppy. A health record and microchip do not replace a pedigree.
