1. Company and Service
The service is coordinated by Bucuria Casei Online SRL, VAT ID 42245898, Trade Register J2020000293080, under the brand BucuriaCasei. You can contact us at contact@bucuriacasei.ro or 0742 016 653, luni–sâmbătă, 09:00–18:00.
BucuriaCasei mediates the selection of a puppy according to the client's preferences and coordinates communication with the breeder or owner, veterinary checks, preparation, and organisation of delivery. Orders are managed by our team; this site does not allow listings or offers from other breeders.
“Client” means the person requesting the service; “breeder/owner” means the person who owns the proposed puppy.
The agency’s and breeder’s roles
Bucuria Casei Online SRL acts as an intermediary agency. The agency’s service contract is separate from the puppy sale. Under this model, the breeder/owner is the seller of the puppy; the agency does not sell it in its own name.
Before the sale offer becomes binding on the customer, we communicate the requested details of the desired puppy in a form that can be retained, such as email, WhatsApp or a document in the order dossier, so that the decision can be made with full knowledge of the facts.
Responsibilities and limits of intermediation
As the seller, the breeder/owner is responsible for the puppy’s lawful origin, quality and health at handover, its rearing conditions, the accuracy of the information and documents supplied, and compliance with the agreed characteristics, including breed, sex, colour and pedigree where included. Their liability for non-conformity, hidden defects or conditions present at handover, or their pre-existing causes, is determined under the sale contract and applicable law.
The agency is responsible for its own intermediary services: exercising due care when checking partners and information, communicating the offer, coordinating veterinary checks, preparation and the agreed transport, and providing customer support. A veterinary check is not a promise that the animal will never develop a condition. The intermediary role does not, by itself, transfer all the seller’s obligations to the agency or constitute a general guarantee for every act of the breeder.
This distinction does not exclude the agency’s liability for its own culpable acts or omissions, misleading information, expressly undertaken obligations, including the medical guarantee in section 6, or liability imposed by law in the specific circumstances. We do not limit liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence or remove mandatory consumer rights. Problems caused solely by inadequate care after handover are assessed using the evidence and the causal link, without automatic exemptions.
2. Selection and Confirmation of the Puppy
Breed, variety, sex, colour, pedigree, and medical preparation preferences guide the search. The team checks availability, discusses rearing conditions with collaborators, and coordinates the puppy’s inspection with a licensed veterinarian.
You will receive photos, videos, and details of the proposed puppy. You confirm the puppy and the offer before preparation for delivery. If a preference cannot be met, we will inform you and propose alternatives only with your consent.
We may refuse a request that we cannot fulfil or that indicates abuse, communicating the reason and status of any paid amounts. Changing the puppy or any agreed characteristic requires the client’s approval.
For puppies from available listingsreservation starts from the puppy or selection in the listing; colour and size cannot be changed. You choose the available sex, medical preparation, possible pedigree, and crate. We confirm availability and the puppy before payment. Vaccinations and microchipping already included in the listing are not charged again; only additional preparation is estimated. The note “may arrive in 24h” applies in Romania only after medical and route confirmation.
3. Price, Payment and Invoicing
Before confirmation, we display the base price, selected extras, transport, and total. For two alternative colours, we apply only the higher supplement once; the final offer is adjusted to the colour of the chosen puppy. Medical preparation, microchipping, pedigree, and a new crate appear separately in the summary, when applicable.
On order10% of the configured price plus full transport cost when you request delivery. For personal collection, transport cost is zero.
On handoverThe balance is paid in cash on delivery or personal collection, directly to the puppy’s breeder/owner.
The 10% advance on the configured price is collected in advance by Bucuria Casei Online SRL towards its intermediary service commission, both for pre-orders and reservations of available puppies. It is not collected by the agency on the breeder’s behalf. The commission is included in the displayed total and is not added again. Transport is a separate cost from the commission, is itemised separately and is not charged again at handover. The conditions for final entitlement to and refund of the advance are those in section 7 and the law; merely collecting it does not make the commission permanently non-refundable. Entitlement to the intermediary commission is determined under Article 2097 of the Romanian Civil Code, through conclusion of the intermediated contract as a result of the intermediation. Any separate services or expenses must be expressly agreed and documented; merely starting a search does not automatically justify retaining the entire commission.
Prices are indicative until the offer is confirmed. Any adjustment to your order is communicated and requires your express agreement. The calculation currency is RON; displayed EUR values are indicative, and the final conversion uses the exchange rate on the day the offer is confirmed. Transport charges and route availability are confirmed in the offer.
Who receives payment and issues the invoice
Bucuria Casei Online SRL issues the invoice for its intermediary commission after collection, using the billing details supplied by the customer.
The remaining price belongs to the breeder/owner, who collects it directly from the customer when handing over the puppy. The agency does not collect this balance or issue a sales invoice in its own name for the amount due to the breeder. The seller is responsible for sales and payment documents and the tax obligations applicable to their status. Paying in cash does not remove statutory documentation requirements or cash-payment limits.
Extended is paid in full with the initial payment, separately from the deposit. Extended is collected and invoiced separately by the agency; the puppy’s balance is due to the breeder.
4. Delivery and Documents
For delivery, the transport crate is mandatory and remains yours. For personal pick-up, the crate is optional.
Personal pick-up has no transport cost. You can choose with or without a crate. The place and date of pick-up will be confirmed with the team after preparing the puppy. The puppy’s destination country remains necessary for medical preparation and documents.
Delivery is made within the client’s city, at a meeting point agreed upon and communicated in advance. We do not deliver to home addresses. Country, city, meeting point, route cost, contact person, and date are confirmed in advance.
- Stock: 1–5 days from order, estimated.
- Express: 14–30 days.
- Standard: 30–60 days.
- 3 vaccinations: estimated extension of 14 days.
- Export: estimated extension of 30 days, which replaces the extension for three vaccinations.
Timeframes are not guaranteed. Availability for requested preferences, age, veterinary checks, vaccination validity, documents, and route may affect timing. Delays and revised estimates are communicated to the client. We do not dispatch a puppy before medical conditions and destination requirements are met.
The puppy is handed over with the relevant medical documents: health booklet, identification, and documented vaccinations, according to age and destination. The veterinarian sets the protocol; the number of vaccinations does not automatically mean the immunisation schedule is complete. For export, the passport, valid rabies vaccination, and documents necessary for commercial transport are checked separately. Details on delivery and medical preparation.
For the pedigree, issuer and eligibility are confirmed for the puppy. The document may be issued later, within six months, and sent by courier. Timing and cost are noted in the offer; if issuance cannot be fulfilled as agreed, the document cost is refunded. Waiting for the pedigree does not automatically determine the puppy’s delivery date.
The breeder provides a puppy aged at least eight weeks at handover, microchipped and with age-appropriate vaccinations recorded in its health booklet. For destinations with additional requirements, the minimum age and departure date are determined only after those requirements have been met. The breeder and the actual carrier must comply with animal welfare and veterinary requirements during transport; the agency coordinates transport and is responsible for its own undertaken obligations.
5. Collecting and Caring for the Puppy
The client provides accurate information and remains available for confirmation of the puppy and delivery. Upon handover, check the breed, sex, colour, documents and the agreed amount; a veterinary surgeon may accompany you. If an amount different from the accepted offer is requested, contact the team before payment.
If the puppy does not match the agreed specifications, you may refuse handover and notify us at handover or within 48 hours of receipt, providing details of the discrepancy. We determine the solution according to the offer, the circumstances and the applicable rights. This notification period does not extinguish statutory rights regarding non-conformity or hidden defects.
From the actual handover of the puppy to the client or their authorised representative, the client assumes responsibility for the animal’s welfare, supervision and care. Animal welfare legislation, medical recommendations and this contract must be followed, subject to the medical guarantee in section 6 and applicable statutory rights.
Immediately after arrival
- Take the puppy directly home or to its permanent living place. Provide comfort, peace, an appropriate temperature and a safe resting space.
- Provide fresh water and age-appropriate food, following the advice given by BucuriaCasei, the breeder and the veterinarian. Check whether the puppy eats within 4 hours of delivery; if it refuses food, seek veterinary advice and inform the team. If other symptoms also appear, seek help immediately without waiting for this interval.
Monitoring during the first 24–72 hours
Closely monitor food and water intake and at least the following:
- Activity levels and general behaviour: whether the puppy is alert, interested in its surroundings and responds normally.
- Apparent clinical condition: apathy or lethargy, trembling, breathing difficulties, vomiting or other worrying changes.
- Stool appearance: diarrhoea, blood, mucus or repeated episodes of diarrhoea.
Reducing stress during the first week
Avoid unnecessary stress, including additional long journeys after delivery, crowds, loud noise, parties and fireworks, contact with many unfamiliar people or animals, and repeated changes of location over a short period. Avoid sudden changes of food and follow the veterinarian’s instructions on settling in, vaccination and parasite prevention.
What to do if signs of illness appear
If the puppy loses its appetite or shows apathy or lethargy, diarrhoea, vomiting, blood in the stool, breathing difficulties or other worrying signs, contact a veterinarian urgently. Do not wait for the agency’s reply or the resolution of a complaint before seeking veterinary care.
Notify BucuriaCasei immediately by phone, WhatsApp or email, within a maximum of 12 hours of noticing a deterioration in health during the guarantee period. Send details and, where possible without delaying care, photos or videos. Send the consultation record, test results and diagnosis afterwards as they become available.
6. Medical guarantee
Standard · included · 3 days from handoverCanine parvovirus, Canine distemper. No treatment expense reimbursement
Extended · 14 days from handoverCanine parvovirus, Canine distemper, Infectious canine hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Canine parainfluenza, Rabies. Eligible expenses: up to RON 1,000 in total
Only listed diseases that existed before handover are covered, supported by a licensed veterinarian’s diagnosis and records. Symptoms or days since handover alone do not establish when infection occurred.
The period starts at actual handover: Standard 72 hours, Extended 336 hours. Report symptoms immediately, within 12 hours of noticing them and within the plan period, through the dossier, phone, WhatsApp or email. The team may register a timely notification. Do not delay care for paperwork; diagnosis, treatment and documents may be added later, including after expiry for a claim reported in time.
Standard is included, without treatment reimbursement. For a confirmed covered pre-existing disease, the commercial remedy is an agreed puppy return and refund of the agency’s collected commission after return. Breeder-collected amounts are addressed separately with the breeder. A return requires safe arrangements and veterinary approval; medically unstable animals are not transported before stabilisation.
Extended costs RON 249 at the RON tariff, paid in full initially and separately from the deposit; the selected currency/destination tariff is confirmed in the summary. Eligible veterinary expenses actually paid for a documented covered pre-existing disease are reimbursed up to RON 1,000 cumulatively per puppy/order. The cap remains in RON regardless of order currency. This is not insurance or an automatically available budget.
Eligible Extended expenses: consultations, necessary diagnostic tests, prescribed treatment and necessary hospitalisation for the covered disease, evidenced by veterinary records, invoices and payment proof. Foreign currencies use the BNR rate on the payment date or last published rate. Costs already reimbursed elsewhere, transport, food, accessories, routine prevention/vaccinations/deworming and unrelated expenses are excluded.
Exclusions: Giardia and other parasitic infections; unlisted diseases; illnesses acquired after handover; accidents, poisoning and swallowed objects; problems caused by unsuitable food changes or failure to follow veterinary advice where causation is documented. Giardia is a parasitic infection; diagnosis and treatment are veterinary matters.
Diarrhoea, appetite loss and lethargy are symptoms, not independently covered diseases. They do not exclude a medically supported covered pre-existing diagnosis. Seek prompt veterinary care; do not delay the consultation.
The team reviews the diagnosis, tests, timeline, health booklet and treatment, may request further information, and records a reasoned decision on the claim in the dossier. Documents are private.
Extended only: the team checks expenses and supporting documents and communicates the approved eligible amount, within the cumulative RON 1,000 cap. Approved reimbursement is transferred within 14 calendar days of confirming complete documents and approval, using privately agreed payment details. Standard does not reimburse treatment expenses.
7. Cancellation and Refund
If you cancel your pre-order within 14 days of placing the order, we will fully refund your deposit and any other amounts paid, provided no search efforts have been made and the paid service has not been rendered.
A preorder includes a search for a puppy matching your preferences. The start of the work is documented with the date and a description of the service actually performed. Simply opening an order file does not constitute performance of a service.
Puppies currently available · reservation
You are booking a puppy already available. If you voluntarily cancel after the reservation confirmation, the deposit is non-refundable according to our commercial policy. Applicable legal rights and remedies for the company’s failure to fulfill obligations remain in force.
Stock reservation refers to an existing puppy, confirmed together with the client; it does not include a search service. The commercial condition regarding deposit applies to voluntary withdrawal after reservation is confirmed. It does not automatically apply to an unconfirmed request, a discrepancy with the offer, or the company’s failure to fulfil obligations. These situations and exercising legal rights are examined separately.
Legal right of withdrawal
When Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 applies, the legal 14-day period starts from conclusion of the contract for services, or from taking possession of goods for sales. Sending an unconfirmed request does not automatically establish the contract date. The pre-order commercial policy, calculated from the request, does not limit the legal term.
How to request withdrawal or cancellation
In the order file, click "Withdraw from contract here", verify your name, order reference and contact email, then click "Confirm withdrawal." There is no need to provide a reason. The site immediately logs the statement with date and time and provides a downloadable confirmation containing the request content. Keep this document. The order is paused for resolution. Requests not meeting commercial policy are evaluated separately, without automatic refusal of legal rights.
You can also send the request to contact@bucuriacasei.ro , indicating the order reference. When the refund is approved, we reimburse the full amount paid covered by the refund, without any administrative deductions. For the eligible pre-order as described above, this includes all amounts paid, including shipping. For card payments via EuPlătesc, the team manually processes the refund via the processor’s panel after verifying receipt and the request. Logging the withdrawal on the site does not constitute transfer confirmation; the refund confirmation is communicated separately. The refund is made by the same payment method, unless you expressly agree to a different one, within a maximum of 14 days from the eligible request.
You may also request cancellation if the agreed term is exceeded by more than 30 days. For the pedigree, the confirmed issuance deadline is considered. Apart from the commercial policy on pre-order refunds, the services actually rendered and the transport situation are evaluated according to the contract and the law; these do not automatically cancel all customer rights.
If we cannot contact you or you do not attend the agreed handover, we document reasonable contact attempts and communicate the next steps and the status of payments in writing before closing the dossier. Failure to respond, non-attendance or disclosure of the breeder’s details does not, on its own, justify automatically retaining the entire advance. Any retained amount must have a contractual and legal basis and be explained to the customer; withdrawal rights and remedies for non-performance remain applicable.
8. Breed Images and Recommendations
Presentation images and Instagram posts illustrate the breed or previously sold examples. They do not guarantee you will receive the puppy shown. The dog for your order is confirmed with real photos and details before delivery.
The questionnaire compares preferences and lifestyle with breed profiles. Recommendations are indicative; they do not guarantee temperament, compatibility with children or other animals, or absence of allergic reactions. Specific needs are discussed with the team and the vet.
9. Website Use
Fraud, unauthorised access, introduction of malicious code, or disruption of operation are not permitted. We may restrict abusive access and notify authorities when necessary. Content, images, and trademarks are used under conditions permitted by rights holders and law.
Technical interruptions or information requiring correction may occur. Maintenance and changes to the site do not retroactively alter an already accepted offer and do not exclude legal obligations.
The client agrees to communicate in good faith and not to publish false factual statements that unlawfully harm the reputation of BucuriaCasei or its partner breeders, including on social media, review websites and forums. This obligation does not prevent honest reviews, opinions, complaints or the exercise of statutory rights. For an unlawful infringement and proven harm, the affected party may seek cessation of the infringement, compensation and other remedies provided by articles 253 and 257 of the Romanian Civil Code, subject to the law. No penalty applies automatically merely upon notification by the agency, and the right to challenge a claim is not waived.
10. Personal Data
Data is used to manage requests, selection, and communication, according to the Privacy Policy. Marketing communications, if enabled, require a separate choice; they are not a condition of placing an order. Your data is not sold.
11. Complaints and Disputes
Send complaints to contact@bucuriacasei.ro or use the Contact page. We first try to find an amicable solution and explain the necessary steps.
You may notify the National Authority for Consumer Protection or the competent courts. Romanian law applies without removing mandatory protections applicable to the consumer in their country. We do not impose waiving the right to file a complaint or contest a clause.
For an amicable resolution of a consumer dispute, you can read about the procedure and submit a request through the ANPC alternative dispute resolution platform. Alternative dispute resolution is an out-of-court procedure, subject to the eligibility and participation requirements established by law. This option does not limit your right to apply to the competent courts.
12. Version of Terms
Version saved in new files: 2026-10-09-terms-v16. Updates are published on this page; the accepted terms and any explicitly agreed changes remain applicable to an order.
