Where can I safely buy a pedigree dog in Romania? A complete guide for future owners

When you decide to bring a puppy into your family, one of the most important questions is not only which breed to choose, but more importantly:

Where can I buy a pedigree dog in Romania so that I can be sure the puppy is healthy, verified, and comes from suitable conditions?

The internet is full of ads for puppies for sale. Prices vary greatly, photos can look flawless, and descriptions almost always promise that the puppies are healthy and well cared for.

The problem is that many of these things are hard for a buyer to verify.

BucuriaCasei.ro was created precisely to simplify this process.

Instead of searching alone through dozens or hundreds of ads and trying to determine if a breeder or a puppy is trustworthy, BucuriaCasei identifies puppies that match your requirements, verifies breeders and animals, and helps you throughout the entire process until the puppy is delivered.

Why can it be risky to buy a puppy directly from an ad?

A good price and some nice photos are not enough to determine if a puppy is a good choice.

When you buy directly from someone you don't know, you have to check a whole range of aspects yourself:

• the identity and reliability of the person selling the puppy;
• the conditions in which it is raised;
• the health condition;
• the actual age;
• the vaccinations and dewormings performed;
• the existence and identification of the microchip;
• health record booklet;
• the puppy’s origin;
• the specific characteristics of the breed;
• the estimated size at maturity;
• the possibility of safe transport;
• what happens if medical issues arise immediately after purchase.

For someone without cynological or veterinary experience, all these can be difficult to evaluate correctly.

That is why the BucuriaCasei service does not limit itself to posting ads with puppies.

Our role is to minimize the uncertainty between when you want a certain puppy and when it arrives in your family.

How does BucuriaCasei help you find a pedigree dog?

The process starts with what you want.

You can communicate to BucuriaCasei:

• the desired breed;
• sex;
• color;
• the estimated size;
• budget;
• age preferences;
• possibly other important characteristics for you.

Depending on the request, the BucuriaCasei team searches for suitable options within the network of breeders it collaborates with.

Thus, you don't have to contact dozens of people individually and try to verify each offer.

BucuriaCasei handles this step for you.

1. We verify the breeders we work with

The first important thing when buying a dog is not the puppy's photo, but where that puppy comes from.

BucuriaCasei verifies the collaborating breeders and the conditions in which the animals are kept. We have been handling these efforts since 2010, during which we have selected many breeders who do excellent work, as well as many others we do not recommend, thereby protecting you from risky and unpleasant situations.

The goal is that the selection is not based solely on the information provided in an ad but on additional verifications made before the puppy is recommended to a client.

This is one of the most important advantages of using a specialized service instead of buying directly from an unknown person.

2. We verify the puppy before you choose it

Once a puppy that matches your requirements is identified, the available information about it and its condition are verified.

BucuriaCasei collaborates with specialists and authorized veterinarians to check the animals and monitors both health status and the puppy's compliance with the client's specified requirements.

An important aspect is that you do not have to choose a puppy based solely on one photo found in an ad.

During the process, you can receive photos, videos, and additional information about the options identified so that you can make an informed choice.

3. You receive photos and videos before the final choice

When choosing a puppy remotely, transparency is essential.

Therefore, BucuriaCasei can provide clients with:

• updated photos;
• videos;
• information about the puppy;
• details on vaccinations;
• information about size and the tracked characteristics.

Thus, the process is not just "pay and see what you get later."

You have the opportunity to analyze the identified options and actively participate in choosing the puppy.

4. The puppy is vaccinated and dewormed according to its age

The vaccination schedule is one of the most important pieces of information to check when buying a puppy.

Puppies prepared through BucuriaCasei receive age-appropriate vaccinations and dewormings, carried out by the breeder or a veterinarian.

The number of vaccines may vary depending on the exact age of the puppy at the time of handover.

Therefore, before purchase, it is important to ask which vaccines the chosen puppy has actually had, not just whether it is "vaccinated."

5. The puppy is microchipped and receives a health record

Animal identification is just as important as vaccination.

Puppies are microchipped, and the microchip code is recorded in the animal's documents.

At delivery, the puppy is accompanied by the health booklet, which includes the relevant medical information.

Depending on the situation and the puppy’s destination, there may also be additional services/documents, such as an international passport or the necessary preparations for travel outside the country.

6. The pedigree may be available depending on the puppy and breeder.

One of the most common confusions when people look for a purebred dog concerns the pedigree.

The pedigree should not be confused with:

• health record booklet;
• the microchip;
• the passport;
• vaccination certification.

They are different documents.

If the pedigree is a mandatory requirement for you, this must be specified before choosing the puppy..

BucuriaCasei can search for options according to your requirements, including when having a pedigree is an important criterion.

7. We can organize puppy transportation.

Another common issue arises when the right puppy is hundreds of kilometers away.

The most suitable puppy for you is not always located in the city where you live.

BucuriaCasei can arrange animal transportation within Romania and, depending on the destination and applicable legal conditions, in other European countries.

Thus, the search area should not be limited exclusively to breeders near your residence.

For many families, this is an important advantage: they can choose the right puppy, not just the closest one.

8. You have a medical warranty according to BucuriaCasei terms.

An essential question before buying any puppy should be:

What happens if the puppy shows signs of illness immediately after arriving home?

BucuriaCasei offers a medical warranty for certain viral diseases, under the conditions specified in the Service Terms and Conditions.

Currently, this covers diseases such as:

• parvovirus;
• distemper;
• hepatitis;
• leptospirosis;
• rabies,

under the conditions and for the period specified contractually.

We recommend every client to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian after receiving it, in accordance with the warranty conditions.

This is an additional safety measure for both the puppy and the new family.

9. You are not alone after choosing the puppy.

Purchasing a puppy does not end the moment you say, “I choose this one.”

What follows is:

• preparation for departure;
• the documents;
• the appropriate vaccinations;
• microchipping;
• arranging transportation;
• arranging the handover;
• the first days of acclimation.

BucuriaCasei provides assistance throughout the process and communicates with the client until the animal is delivered.

For someone buying a dog for the first time, having someone manage the entire process can make the difference between a stressful experience and a simple, predictable one.

Why choose BucuriaCasei instead of searching for a puppy on your own?

Of course, you can find a breeder on your own.

There are serious breeders and people who take very good care of their animals.

The problem is that You must identify them among all the existing offers and perform the necessary checks yourself.

BucuriaCasei is especially suitable for people who want to:

• save the time needed for searching;
• have access to more options;
• benefit from checks before purchase;
• receive updated photos and videos;
• have a puppy properly vaccinated for its age;
• receive the animal microchipped and with a health booklet;
• be able to request certain breed, size, color, or sex characteristics;
• benefit from organized transportation;
• have a company to communicate with during the process;
• benefit from clear conditions and medical warranty.

In other words, BucuriaCasei does not just try to show you an available dog but manages the process through which you find and receive the right puppy.

How do you order a puppy through BucuriaCasei?

The process is simple.

Step 1 – Tell us what kind of puppy you want.

Choose the breed and tell us your preferences.

For example:

“I want a red Toy Poodle male, as small as possible.”

or:

“I’m looking for an apricot Maltipoo for a family with children, and I would prefer it to reach about 3 kg at maturity.”

The clearer the requirements, the better the search can be targeted.

Step 2 – We look for suitable options.

BucuriaCasei identifies puppies that closely match the requested criteria and performs the necessary checks within its network of collaborators.

Step 3 – You receive the options.

We present to you photos, videos, and available information about the puppies.

You choose the specimen that you like.

Step 4 – We prepare the puppy for delivery.

Vaccinations according to age, documents, microchipping, and other necessary aspects before departure are monitored.

Step 5 – We organize the delivery or transport.

Depending on the situation, the puppy can be picked up or transport to the agreed destination can be arranged.

What is the safest method to buy a purebred dog?

There is no method by which all risk can be completely eliminated when it comes to a living animal.

However, there are a few things that significantly reduce uncertainty:

1. verifying the person or breeder from whom the puppy comes;
2. checking the conditions in which it was raised;
3. evaluating the health status;
4. age-appropriate vaccination;
5. presence of a health record booklet;
6. microchip identification;
7. clear documentation of the transaction;
8. transport carried out under proper conditions;
9. existence of contractual conditions and a medical warranty;
10. the possibility to communicate with a company even after choosing the puppy.

This is why the BucuriaCasei service was built around verification, transparency, and management of the entire process, not just around publishing listings.
