What else you should know:

Contractual information is available in the terms and conditions of use and can be consulted when submitting your order.

We do not perform or in any way support ear or tail docking practices. We respect our commitment to animal welfare and promote the breeding and care of animals in accordance with animal welfare rules and legislation.

You can choose this preference on the order form in the Vaccination section, where you will find the option "Export Ready". To travel to the European Union, pets need a passport. This can be issued by your veterinarian from the age of 3 months, once the rabies vaccination has been carried out. If you choose delivery to a country other than Romania, the puppy will be shipped after 3 months and 3 weeks of age, at which point it will be vaccinated against rabies, microchipped and will have an international passport.

If you would like your puppy to be accompanied by a Pedigree certificate, please select the appropriate option when placing your order. This document certifies the pedigree of the dog and the authenticity of the breed, and is issued by specialized organizations. We recommend that you consider this option if you want to participate in dog shows or have the guarantee of a pure genetic line.

Transportation in Romania

Puppies can be transported to the client's city, depending on the availability of our routes. If delivery cannot be made to a specific city, this will be communicated in advance to find an optimal solution for the puppy's delivery.

Be sure to choose the Ready for Export option in the Vaccination section when submitting your order.
If transportation cannot be made to the customer's city, this will be communicated in advance in order to identify a convenient delivery solution.
We do not currently offer transportation to the exact address of the customer.

If you have questions about transportation or other destinations, please contact us for more information.

We deliver our puppies as soon as possible, but never before the minimum age of 8 weeks, which may vary by breed. Although we want to get your puppy to you as soon as possible, it is essential to respect this interval, both for the puppy's sake and for your own comfort. Premature separation can make care and adaptation considerably more difficult or even jeopardize the puppy's health.

The estimated time to delivery, shown on each breed's page, may be influenced by your preference of sex, size, color or vaccination schedule. For this reason, please take it as a guide. During the selection process, we will keep you up to date with updated information.

For pedigree puppies, identification and verification may take up to 3 months, depending on national availability at the time of order. If you decline a proposal on a puppy, the order remains active and the identification process continues and we will come back with alternatives. In this situation, the delivery time will be extended by the estimated period specified on the page of the breed ordered.

Internal deworming is an essential process in the first months of a puppy's life and is rigorously carried out before each vaccination to eliminate intestinal parasites and pathogens such as Giardia. This can be carried out either by the veterinarian or the breeder, depending on the situation.

We recommend that both internal and external de-worming be carried out within the first week of your puppy's arrival to ensure complete parasite elimination and proper preparation for the next vaccine according to the vaccination schedule. External deworming is indicated immediately after the first bath, followed by a period of 24 hours during which direct contact with the treated area should be avoided.

We are glad to see that you are thinking about training, as it is very important. Puppies are not generally trained before leaving, it is up to the breeder what education they choose to provide the puppy.
However, if you want specific training, this can be done after 4-5 months of age.
All puppies need proper training from their owner upon arrival. If you don't want to hire a trainer, there are several resources that can be found online to help you.

Puppy health is our top priority! We inspect puppies at the owner's location from the time of booking to the time of delivery to ensure they are healthy, happy and well cared for. Once you choose your puppy, we will make sure it is properly vaccinated and shows optimal clinical signs to be transported safely. At the same time, you will benefit from a medical guarantee for viral diseases for which vaccination has been carried out (Parvovirus, Jigodie, Hepatitis, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis or Rabies) for a period of 5 days so that you have enough time to confirm the puppy's good health. For added safety, it is recommended that when placing your order you choose a puppy with multiple vaccinations, as this will give your puppy immunity so that it will not become ill from viruses or bacteria in the external environment.

All our puppies receive the necessary vaccinations and internal deworming according to their age, performed by the breeder or veterinarian.

Of course, we microchip all puppies if this has not been done by the breeder, and the microchip code will always be pasted into their health card. Registration in RECS will be completed as soon as you send us a copy of your ID.

This is possible. The identification and verification steps will be carried out by BucuriaCasei, you will indicate the desired specimen from the photos that will be sent to you so that the veterinarian can properly vaccinate the puppy, and then you will be sent the location so that you can personally pick up the chosen puppy.

You can cancel your order at any time by communicating your intention on WhatsApp, by phone or by email. The identification and verification procedures we carry out for each order involve proportionate costs, which is why the amount of the advance payment paid is non-refundable, except in the following situations:

  • the order is less than 7 days old;
  • the order exceeded by more than 30 days the estimate on the ordered breed page (for dogs without pedigree) or the deadline agreed upon order;
  • the order has exceeded by more than 30 days the 6 months term (for pedigree dogs) or the term agreed at the time of order.

Also, even if you fall into one of the points mentioned above, the refund will not be made in the following situations:

  • you have already chosen a puppy that I have reserved for you;
  • you have refused a specimen that was proposed to you, which is why the order fulfillment deadline is extended by the delivery estimate displayed on the ordered breed page.

If you are eligible for a refund of the advance, 20 lei will be deducted from the refunded amount, related to bank fees. It will be paid into the same bank account from which the payment was made, within a maximum of 14 days.
Submitting an order represents a commitment assumed by both parties.

The price consists of the advance payment of 10% which is paid at the time of sending the order and an estimate to be paid upon delivery. In our activity of identifying and verifying the puppies available in the country we will obtain results and photos that we will send you, accompanied by the price difference that you will pay upon receipt. In case the price sent is higher than the estimated one on the site and it does not represent any obligation to accept the offer, we will continue the checks at other breeders. Although we make efforts to regularly update the prices displayed on the site, they should be treated as information.

Doberman for sale: breed

The Doberman Pinscher (spelled "Dobermann" in some countries) originated in the late 19th century. That hasn't stopped the Dobie, as it is affectionately called, from becoming one of the most popular and recognizable breeds in the United States.

His appearance is elegant and his style is athletic; Dobie is also intelligent, alert and loyal. He is a courageous watchdog as well as a loving family companion. He is a formidable guardian, but usually just a gentle, attentive and loving dog. It does not go looking for trouble, but is fearless and will defend its family if it senses danger.

Dobermans enjoy being part of a family. They love to be close to those they love and, when this love is present, are naturally protective. They are reliable with children, friends and guests of their family, as long as it is treated with kindness.

Despite their positive qualities, the Dobie is not the breed for everyone. They are large, weighing between 27 and 36 kilos and are extremely active, both physically and mentally. They need plenty of exercise. They also need plenty of mental challenges to keep them from getting bored. They need a strong owner/leader who can take the time for proper socialization and training and who will keep them busy every day. This can be too much for people who lead a more relaxed lifestyle.

The current appearance is slimmer and sleeker than in years gone by. His temperament has changed somewhat, say breed enthusiasts, although he is still an excellent guard dog. Originally, the ears were cropped to increase his ability to localize sounds, and codotomy gave the breed a more efficient appearance, although this is illegal in some countries.

Those who know them say that a properly socialized Dobie is an excellent pet and companion, suitable for families with other dogs, gentle with small children and generally a loyal and devoted member of the family.

Doberman for sale: brief history

Once upon a time, at the end of the 19th century, there was a customs officer called Louis Dobermann, who lived in the town of Apolda in the Thuringian district of Germany. His job of collecting money was dangerous, as there were bandits in the area who could attack him while he was doing his job. Since Dobermann was also the town dog-sitter, he often had a dog for protection. Dobermann began breeding dogs with the idea of a faithful and protective companion. The result of his breeding experiments was the beginning of the Doberman Pinscher breed.

There are no records of how Dobermann dogs were created, but it is speculated that Rottweiler, German Pinscher, Black Terrier and Tan Terrier were part of the mix. Dobie was first shown in 1876, where it was greeted with much enthusiasm.

When the Dobermann died in 1894, the true knowledge of the breeds that had been combined to make Dobie died with him. However, because of his contributions to the development of the breed, it was named in his honor.

At the end of the 19th century, the German breeders who continued the Dobermann's work were primarily concerned with function and not appearance. They wanted to develop the Dobermann to be a "super dog". At first, they stopped only the bravest, smartest, fastest and toughest dogs. They succeeded almost too well. The breed became known for being temperamental and aggressive.

A breeder named Otto Goeller is credited with molding the Dobermann into a more usable dog, and in 1900, the German Kennel Club recognized the Dobermann Pinscher as a breed.

Around 1908, Dobie was brought to the United States. Legend has it that one of the first Dobermans brought to America won "Best in Show" honors at three consecutive shows. The American Dobermann Pinscher Club was formed in 1921. A year later, it adopted the breed standard that had been written in Germany.

The next 15 years were critical in the development of this breed. During the First World War, their numbers in Europe declined severely as starving people could not afford to keep large dogs. The Dobien that survived were kept by the military, police and the very wealthy. Breeding was a luxury; only the best were bred.

After 1921, almost all of the top offspring from Germany were brought to the United States. Then came World War II and the Dobermann Pinscher was again endangered in Germany. Many believe that if Americans had not previously brought so many dogs to the United States, the breed would have been extinct.

In the mid-1900s, the Germans dropped the word Pinscher from their name, and the British did a few years later. Over the years, breeders have worked diligently to curb the sharp personality. Although the Doberman is protective of their family and home, they are known as affectionate and loyal companions.

Doberman for sale: size

Males are 66 to 71 cm tall; females are 61 to 66 cm tall.

Males and females weigh between 27 and 36 kg; males are slightly larger than females.

Doberman for sale: personality

A super-smart and super-active dog - that's what you get when you get a Doberman Pinscher. You also get an extremely loyal, trustworthy dog that is playful and full of love with the family. He's a natural protector who won't hesitate to act when he thinks his family is threatened, but he's not unreasonably aggressive.

This dog likes to be physically and mentally occupied. He is a fast learner and his training is easy. Because he learns so quickly, it is difficult to keep lessons fresh and interesting. He may have his own ideas about things, although he is typically not too stubborn with an owner who provides consistent and kind leadership.

The Dobermann takes some time to grow up. It remains a puppy until it's three to four years old.

Temperament is affected by a number of factors, including heredity, training, and socialization. Puppies with nice temperaments are curious and playful, willing to approach people and be held by them.

Like any dog, Dobermans need early socialization - exposure to many different people, sights, sounds and experiences - when they're young. Socialization helps ensure that your pup grows up to be a well-rounded dog. Enrolling in puppy daycare is a great start. Inviting visitors regularly and taking him to busy parks, stores that allow dogs and on leisurely walks to meet neighbors will also help him polish his social skills.

Doberman for sale: health

Dobermans are generally healthy but, like all breeds, they are prone to certain health conditions. Not all dogs will have any of these diseases, but it's important to be aware of them if you're considering this breed.

If you buy a puppy, find a good breeder who will show you the health papers of the puppy's parents. Health certificates show that a dog has been tested and recovered from a particular ailment.

  • Von Willebrand disease: This is an inherited disorder that can cause mild to moderately severe bleeding and a prolonged bleeding time. If you suspect that your pet has Von Willebrand's disease, ask your veterinarian to perform a blood test and take necessary precautions before any surgical procedure.
  • Hip dysplasia: This is an inherited condition in which the thigh does not fit snugly into the hip joint. Some dogs show pain on one or both hind legs, but you may not notice any signs of discomfort. As the dog gets older, arthritis can develop. The dysplasia is hereditary, but can also be triggered by environmental factors such as rapid growth due to a high-calorie diet or injury. Treatment ranges from supplements that support joint function to total hip replacement.
  • Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA): This is a degenerative eye condition that eventually causes blindness due to the loss of photoreceptors in the back of the eye. PRA is detectable years before the dog shows signs of blindness. Fortunately, dogs can use their other senses to compensate for blindness, and a blind dog can live a full and happy life.
  • Hypothyroidism: This is a disorder of the thyroid gland that is thought to cause conditions such as epilepsy, hair loss, obesity, lethargy, dark spots on the skin, and other skin conditions. It is treated with medication and diet.
  • Wobbler's Syndrome: Supposedly an inherited condition in Dobermans, affected dogs suffer from spinal cord compression caused by cervical vertebral instability or from a malformed vertebral canal. Extreme symptoms are neck pain and leg paralysis. Surgical therapy is hotly debated because in some cases the condition can recur even after such treatment.
  • Cardiomyopathy: This is a disease of the heart muscle, which becomes thin and weak. It is characterized by an expansion or widening (dilation) of the chambers of the heart, resulting in an abnormally large heart. This disease eventually results in heart failure because the damaged heart muscle is too weak to pump blood efficiently to the rest of the body. Treatment varies, but includes oxygen, fluid therapy and medications that improve heart function.
  • Albinism: Albinism is a genetic condition that affects the Dobberman Pinscher. An albino is not just a white dog, but a dog with pink skin and nose and blue eyes. These dogs are sensitive to sunlight and can suffer from a variety of health conditions, including cancer and eye problems. Albino dogs should not be bred.
  • Narcolepsy: This is a neurological disorder caused by the brain's inability to regulate wake-sleep patterns. A dog with narcolepsy may suddenly become sleepy and actually fall asleep. Research for treatment is ongoing.
  • Gastric Dilation: This is a life-threatening condition that can affect a Doberman, especially if he is fed a large meal a day, eats quickly, drinks large amounts of water and then exercises vigorously after eating. Some believe that many meals a day and the type of food could also be factors for dilation. This problem occurs more commonly in older dogs, but can occur at any age. Gastric dilatation occurs when the stomach is expanded with gas or air and then twisted. The dog can't burp or vomit to get rid of the excess air in the stomach, and the normal return of blood to the heart is impeded. Blood pressure drops and the dog goes into shock. Without immediate medical attention, the dog may die. Gastric dilatation may be suspected when your dog has a distended abdomen, drools excessively and burps without vomiting. He may also be restless, depressed, lethargic and sluggish with a rapid heart rate. It's important that your pet gets to the vet as soon as possible. There are some indications that gastric dilatation is inherited, so neutering dogs that develop this condition is recommended.

Doberman for sale: care

The Doberman Pinscher is best suited to a suburban or country area with some space. It needs lots of exercise every day; this demand can be tiring for owners. They need a home with an enclosed yard, for their own safety and for the safety of people and animals that accidentally enter their space.

He should not be left on his own for long periods of time, nor should he be chained up. Dobie should be part of his family, participating in all activities.

Dobie needs early socialization and training. Like any dog, it can become shy or aggressive if not socialized properly when still young.

Doberman for sale: feeding

Recommended daily amount: 2.5 to 3.5 cups of high-quality dry food per day, divided into two meals. Note: How much an adult dog eats depends on size, age, build, metabolism and activity level. Dogs are individuals, just like humans, and they don't all need the same amount of food. It almost goes without saying that an extremely active dog will need more food compared to a less active one. The quality of the dog food you buy also makes a difference - the better the food, the more nutrients and satiety it will provide, without you having to constantly check the bowl.

Doberman for sale: coat color and brushing

The Doberman's sleek, smooth coat is short and lies close to the skin. It may have a slight covering around the neck. It can be black, red, blue and tan in color. It has rust markings above each eye; on the muscles, neck and chest; the same on the legs.

The coat requires minimal grooming. It is a clean dog with minimal odor. Don't be fooled by the length of the coat, it sheds quite a bit. However, weekly brushing is sufficient. However, frequent bathing is not necessary.

Brush your Doberman's teeth at least two or three times a week to remove tartar buildup and bacteria lurking inside. Daily brushing is even better if you want to prevent gum disease and bad breath. Remove your nails once or twice a month. Get him used to being brushed and examined when he's a puppy. Frequently handle his paws and check his mouth.

Clean their ears regularly with a warm, damp cloth and run a cotton swab around the edge of the canal. Never stick the cotton swab into the actual ear canal. If the edges of the ears are dry, apply mineral or baby oil. The oil can also be used on a dry nose.

When caring for your pet at any stage of life, take the time to check for scabs, skin lesions, spots, rough, black skin or signs of infection. You should also check the ears, eyes and teeth for any problems or bad odors. Both are signs that your mastiff may need to see your vet. With a positive experience, full of praise and rewards, you'll lay the groundwork for easy vet exams and other maneuvers when he's an adult.

Doberman for sale: relationship with children and other animals

The well-behaved Doberman is a wonderful family dog. He is reliable and protective of the children in his family, as long as they have been properly socialized and trained. Children should be respectful and kind to Dobie.

As with every breed, however, you need to teach children how to approach and touch dogs and always supervise any interaction between them to prevent any biting. Teach your child never to approach the dog while eating or sleeping or to try to take the dog's food. No dog, however friendly, should be left unattended with a child.

They are also friendly with other dogs and animals in the home, especially if the dog was raised with them. Dobermans can be aggressive towards dogs outside their family if they consider them a threat to their loved ones.
