What else you should know:

Contractual information is available in the terms and conditions of use and can be consulted when submitting your order.

We do not perform or in any way support ear or tail docking practices. We respect our commitment to animal welfare and promote the breeding and care of animals in accordance with animal welfare rules and legislation.

You can choose this preference on the order form in the Vaccination section, where you will find the option "Export Ready". To travel to the European Union, pets need a passport. This can be issued by your veterinarian from the age of 3 months, once the rabies vaccination has been carried out. If you choose delivery to a country other than Romania, the puppy will be shipped after 3 months and 3 weeks of age, at which point it will be vaccinated against rabies, microchipped and will have an international passport.

If you would like your puppy to be accompanied by a Pedigree certificate, please select the appropriate option when placing your order. This document certifies the pedigree of the dog and the authenticity of the breed, and is issued by specialized organizations. We recommend that you consider this option if you want to participate in dog shows or have the guarantee of a pure genetic line.

Transportation in Romania

Puppies can be transported to the client's city, depending on the availability of our routes. If delivery cannot be made to a specific city, this will be communicated in advance to find an optimal solution for the puppy's delivery.
Currently, direct delivery to the customer's address is not possible.

International transport

If you opt for delivery outside Romania, the puppy can only be shipped after the age of 3 months and 3 weeks, at which time it will be vaccinated against rabies, microchipped and will have an international passport. Be sure to choose the Ready for Export option in the Vaccination section when submitting your order.
If transportation cannot be made to the customer's city, this will be communicated in advance in order to identify a convenient delivery solution.
We do not currently offer transportation to the exact address of the customer.

Countries and cities served

  • Hungary: Budapest, Gyor
  • Austria: Vienna, Linz
  • BelgiumBrussels
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Switzerland
  • Germany: Passau, München, Nürnberg, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Köln
  • Italy: Padua, Verona, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Rome
  • Moldova: Chisinau
  • Netherlands: Eindhoven, Breda

If you have questions about transportation or other destinations, please contact us for more information.

We deliver our puppies as soon as possible, but never before the minimum age of 8 weeks, which may vary by breed. Although we want to get your puppy to you as soon as possible, it is essential to respect this interval, both for the puppy's sake and for your own comfort. Premature separation can make care and adaptation considerably more difficult or even jeopardize the puppy's health.

The estimated time to delivery, shown on each breed's page, may be influenced by your preference of sex, size, color or vaccination schedule. For this reason, please take it as a guide. During the selection process, we will keep you up to date with updated information.

For pedigree puppies, identification and verification may take up to 3 months, depending on national availability at the time of order. If you decline a proposal on a puppy, the order remains active and the identification process continues and we will come back with alternatives. In this situation, the delivery time will be extended by the estimated period specified on the page of the breed ordered.

Internal deworming is an essential process in the first months of a puppy's life and is rigorously carried out before each vaccination to eliminate intestinal parasites and pathogens such as Giardia. This can be carried out either by the veterinarian or the breeder, depending on the situation.

We recommend that both internal and external de-worming be carried out within the first week of your puppy's arrival to ensure complete parasite elimination and proper preparation for the next vaccine according to the vaccination schedule. External deworming is indicated immediately after the first bath, followed by a period of 24 hours during which direct contact with the treated area should be avoided.

We are glad to see that you are thinking about training, as it is very important. Puppies are not generally trained before leaving, it is up to the breeder what education they choose to provide the puppy.
However, if you want specific training, this can be done after 4-5 months of age.
All puppies need proper training from their owner upon arrival. If you don't want to hire a trainer, there are several resources that can be found online to help you.

Puppy health is our top priority! We inspect puppies at the owner's location from the time of booking to the time of delivery to ensure they are healthy, happy and well cared for. Once you choose your puppy, we will make sure it is properly vaccinated and shows optimal clinical signs to be transported safely. At the same time, you will benefit from a medical guarantee for viral diseases for which vaccination has been carried out (Parvovirus, Jigodie, Hepatitis, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis or Rabies) for a period of 5 days so that you have enough time to confirm the puppy's good health. For added safety, it is recommended that when placing your order you choose a puppy with multiple vaccinations, as this will give your puppy immunity so that it will not become ill from viruses or bacteria in the external environment.

All our puppies receive the necessary vaccinations and internal deworming according to their age, performed by the breeder or veterinarian.

Of course, we microchip all puppies if this has not been done by the breeder, and the microchip code will always be pasted into their health card. Registration in RECS will be completed as soon as you send us a copy of your ID.

This is possible. The identification and verification steps will be carried out by BucuriaCasei, you will indicate the desired specimen from the photos that will be sent to you so that the veterinarian can properly vaccinate the puppy, and then you will be sent the location so that you can personally pick up the chosen puppy.

You can cancel your order at any time by communicating your intention on WhatsApp, by phone or by email. The identification and verification procedures we carry out for each order involve proportionate costs, which is why the amount of the advance payment paid is non-refundable, except in the following situations:

  • the order is less than 7 days old;
  • the order exceeded by more than 30 days the estimate on the ordered breed page (for dogs without pedigree) or the deadline agreed upon order;
  • the order has exceeded by more than 30 days the 6 months term (for pedigree dogs) or the term agreed at the time of order.

Also, even if you fall into one of the points mentioned above, the refund will not be made in the following situations:

  • you have already chosen a puppy that I have reserved for you;
  • you have refused a specimen that was proposed to you, which is why the order fulfillment deadline is extended by the delivery estimate displayed on the ordered breed page.

If you are eligible for a refund of the advance, 20 lei will be deducted from the refunded amount, related to bank fees. It will be paid into the same bank account from which the payment was made, within a maximum of 14 days.
Submitting an order represents a commitment assumed by both parties.

The price consists of the advance payment of 10% which is paid at the time of sending the order and an estimate to be paid upon delivery. In our activity of identifying and verifying the puppies available in the country we will obtain results and photos that we will send you, accompanied by the price difference that you will pay upon receipt. In case the price sent is higher than the estimated one on the site and it does not represent any obligation to accept the offer, we will continue the checks at other breeders. Although we make efforts to regularly update the prices displayed on the site, they should be treated as information.

Medium poodle for sale: breed

Though today's Poodle (Pudel) breed seems to epitomize a life of leisure and luxury, make no mistake: these are real dogs bred to do real jobs. Though it hardly seems possible when you look at a dapper poodle in the show ring, the breed was originally trained as a water retriever, a job that requires jumping in the water to get birds for hunters.

In fact, the English name poodle is derived from the German word pudel, or pudelin, which means to splash. And in France, the poodle is called Caniche, a name derived from chien canard, meaning duck dog.

There are three sizes of Poodle, all considered part of the same breed: ranging from the smallest to the largest, they are Toy, Dwarf and Standard. The Standard Poodle breed is probably the oldest of the three varieties.

Regardless of size, the Poodle is renowned for a playful yet dignified personality and an uncommon intelligence. When it comes to training, he's a straight 'A' student, and the poodle excels at performance sports such as obedience, agility and hunting trials.

Despite its regal air, the poodle is no snob. It's a dog that wants to stay close to its family, gets lonely when it's ignored for a long time and is always up for a good game.

Medium poodle for sale: brief history

The Pochard is one of the oldest breeds developed especially for waterfowl hunting. Most historians agree that it originated in Germany but developed into its own distinct breed in France.

Many are of the opinion that the breed is the result of crossbreeding between several European water dogs, including Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, German, Hungarian and Russian water dogs. Other historians believe that one of the ancestors of the Poodle breed is the North African Poodle, which was imported to the Iberian Peninsula. After that, the breed arrived in Gaul where it was used for its hunting skills.

It is also commonly believed that it is descended from Asiatic dogs and then traveled with the Germanic Goth and Ostrogoth tribes to eventually become a German water dog. Another theory is that it is descended from dogs that came from the Asian steppes with the conquered North African Berbers and eventually found their way to Portugal in the 8th century with the Moors.

Whatever its ancestors, this is a very ancient breed. Illustrations of Poodle-like dogs adorn Egyptian and Roman artifacts and tombs from the first centuries B.C. Drawings and statues show dogs that look very much like modern poodles.

Although some say that the toy and dwarf poodle appeared shortly after the standard poodle, many believe that it wasn't until the 1400s that breeders began producing smaller versions of the dwarf and toy poodle to delight the Parisian bourgeoisie.

The French used the standard poodle for duck hunting, and the medium-sized poodle to search for truffles in the forest. The dwarf poodle, on the other hand, was used to serve as a companion to the aristocracy and the wealthy merchant class.

The poodle excelled in another canine profession: circus dog.

The Kennel Club of England registered their first Poodle in 1874, with the first British Kennel Club for its fans arriving on the scene two years later. It is not known for sure when the poodle arrived in the US, but the American Kennel Club registered their first Poodle in 1886. The Poodle Club of America was founded in 1896, but disbanded shortly thereafter. Poodle enthusiasts re-established the club in 1931.

Poodles were quite rare in the US until after World War II. By the mid-1950s, however, the Poodle had become the most popular breed in the country, a position it held for more than 20 years.

Medium poodle for sale: size

There are five sizes of poodle: mini toy, toy, dwarf, medium and standard. These are not different breeds, just different sizes of the same dog. The mini toy is 20 cm tall and weighs 2 kg, the toy is often up to 28 cm tall and weighs between about 2.5-3.5 kg. The dwarf is 35 cm tall and weighs 5-8 kg. The medium is up to 45 cm and the standard is over 45 cm and more (usually 56 cm); males weigh between 20 and 31 kg and females weigh between 20 and 27 kg. These sizes are approximate and there may be slight deviations.

Medium poodle for sale: personality

Smart, loving, loyal and mischievous are four words that poodle owners commonly use to describe the breed's personality. Poodles are known to have a dignified attitude that is hard to describe but easy to spot.

He is also very people-loving and eager to please. Combine that with his legendary intelligence and you have a dog that can be easily trained.

A good poodle who has been taught canine manners has a calm disposition, especially if he does regular exercise to burn off his natural energy.

The Poodle is protective of his family, and if strangers approach your home, he will immediately bark to let you know. And although he's affectionate with his family, he can take a while to get along with new people.

A special feature is its intelligence. It's often said to have a human-like intelligence that is amazing to its owners. Of course, smart dogs can be difficult to live with. They learn quickly - good and bad habits - and remember everything.

Medium poodle for sale: health

Poodles are generally healthy, but like all breeds, they are prone to certain health conditions. Not all dogs will have any of these diseases, but it is important to be aware of them if you are considering this breed.

If you buy a puppy, find a good breeder who will show you the health papers of the puppy's parents. Health certificates show that a dog has been tested and recovered from a particular ailment.

  • Gastric dilatation: This is a life-threatening condition that can affect a poodle, especially if it is fed a large meal a day, eats quickly, drinks large amounts of water and then exercises vigorously after eating. Some believe that many meals a day and the type of food could also be factors for dilation. This problem occurs more commonly in older dogs, but can occur at any age. Gastric dilatation occurs when the stomach is expanded with gas or air and then twisted. The dog can't burp or vomit to get rid of the excess air in the stomach, and the normal return of blood to the heart is impeded. Blood pressure drops and the dog goes into shock. Without immediate medical attention, the dog may die. Gastric dilatation may be suspected when your dog has a distended abdomen, drools excessively and burps without vomiting. He may also be restless, depressed, lethargic and sluggish with a rapid heart rate. It's important that your pet gets to the vet as soon as possible. There are some indications that gastric dilatation is inherited, so neutering dogs that develop this condition is recommended.
  • Hip dysplasia is an inherited condition in which the thigh does not fit snugly into the hip joint. Some dogs show pain and lameness on one or both hind legs, but you may not notice any signs of discomfort in a dog with hip dysplasia. As the dog ages, arthritis may develop. Hip dysplasia is hereditary, but can be aggravated by environmental factors such as rapid growth due to a high-calorie diet or injury.
  • Patellar luxation: This is a common problem in small dogs that occurs when the patella, which has three parts – the femur (thigh bone), kneecap and tibia, is not aligned properly. This causes a limp or abnormal gait. It is a condition that is present at birth, although the actual dislocation does not always appear until much later. The friction caused by patellar luxation can lead to arthritis, a degenerative joint disease. There are four degrees of patellar luxation, ranging from grade I, an occasional dislocation that causes temporary dislocation of the joint, to grade IV, in which the tibia is severely out of place and the patella cannot be manually realigned. Severe degrees of patellar luxation may require surgery.
  • Epilepsy: Poodles may suffer from epilepsy, which causes mild or severe seizures. Seizures may be exhibited by unusual behavior such as frantic running as if being chased. Seizures are frightening to watch, but the long-term prognosis for dogs with idiopathic epilepsy is generally very good. It's important to remember that seizures can be caused by many things other than idiopathic epilepsy, such as metabolic disorders, infectious diseases affecting the brain, tumors, exposure to poisons, severe head injuries, and more. Therefore, if your Labrador is having seizures, it is important to take him to the vet immediately for a checkup.
  • Legg-Perthes disease: This is another disease involving the hip joint. Many toy breeds are prone to this condition. When your poodle has Legg-Perthes, the blood supply to the femoral head (the large bone of the hind leg) is decreased and the femoral head that connects to the pelvis begins to disintegrate. The first signs of Legg-Perthes usually appear when puppies are between 4 and 6 months of age. The first signs are atrophy of the membrane and leg muscles. Skilled vets can perform surgery to cut the diseased femur so it is no longer attached to the pelvis. The resulting scar tissue creates a 'false joint' and the puppy is usually pain-free.
  • Hypothyroidism: hypothyroidism is a condition of the thyroid gland. It is thought to be responsible for conditions such as epilepsy, alopecia (hair loss), obesity, lethargy, hyperpigmentation, pyoderma and other skin conditions. It is treated with medication and diet.
  • Addison's disease: also known as hypoadrenocorticism, this extremely serious condition is caused by insufficient production of adrenal hormones by the adrenal gland. Most dogs with Addison's disease have vomiting, poor appetite and lethargy. Because these signs are vague and can be mistaken for other conditions, it is easy to miss this disease as a diagnosis until it reaches more advanced stages. More severe signs occur when a dog is stressed or when potassium levels become high enough to interfere with heart function, causing severe shock and death. If Addison's is suspected, your veterinarian may perform a series of tests to confirm the diagnosis.
  • Cushing's disease (hyperadrenocorticism): This condition occurs when the body produces too much cortisol. It can be due to an imbalance of the pituitary or adrenal gland, or it can occur when a dog has too much cortisol from other conditions. Common signs are excessive fluid intake and frequent urination. If your poodle shows these two symptoms, take him to the vet quickly. There are treatments that help this condition, including surgery and medications.
  • Progressive retinal atrophy (PRA): PRA is a family of eye diseases that involves gradual deterioration of the retina. At the onset of the disease, affected dogs become night blind. As the disease progresses, they lose their vision during the day. Many affected dogs adapt very well to the limitation or loss of vision, as long as their surroundings remain the same.
  • Optic nerve hypoplasia: This condition causes blindness and abnormal pupil response in the affected eye.
  • Sebaceous adenitis (SA): SA is a serious problem in poodles, especially in standard poodles. It is estimated that 50 percent of all standard are carriers or are affected. This genetic condition is difficult to diagnose and is often mistaken for hypothyroidism, allergies or other conditions. When a dog has AS, the sebaceous glands in the skin become inflamed for unknown reasons and are eventually destroyed. These glands usually produce sebum, an oily secretion that helps prevent dry skin. They are usually first noticed when the dog is 1 to 5 years old. Affected dogs usually have dry, scaly skin with hair loss over the head, neck and back. Heavily affected dogs may have thickened skin and an unpleasant odor, along with secondary skin infections. Although the problem is primarily cosmetic, it can be uncomfortable for the dog. Your veterinarian will perform a skin biopsy if SA is suspected. Treatment options vary.
  • Von Willebrand disease: This is an inherited blood disorder that interferes with the blood's ability to clot. The main symptom is excessive bleeding after an injury or surgery. Other symptoms include nosebleeds, bleeding gums or bleeding into the stomach or intestines. Blood transfusion is currently the only treatment. New treatments, including drugs, are being investigated. Most dogs with von Willebrand's disease can lead normal lives. A vet can test your dog for the condition. Dogs with this condition should not be bred.

Medium poodle for sale: care

Poodles do well in any type of housing, as long as they get regular exercise and plenty of human company. They prefer to live indoors with their family.

This intelligent breed is a quick learner, but owners should be careful: it's just as easy to inadvertently teach them bad habits as it is to teach them good things.

Just like any dog, the poodle needs early socialization: exposure to lots of people, sights, sounds and experiences when he's young.Regularly inviting visitors and taking him to busy parks, shops that allow dogs and on leisurely walks to meet other people will also help him polish his social skills.

Medium poodle for sale: feeding

Recommended daily amount:

  • for standard poodles: 1.5 to 3 cups of high-quality dry food per day, divided into two meals;
  • for Miniature Poodles: 3/4 to 1 cup of high-quality dry food per day, divided into two meals;
  • for toy poodle: 1/4 to 1/2 cup of high-quality dry food per day, divided into two meals.

Note: How much your dog eats depends on its size, age, build, metabolism and activity level. Dogs are individuals, just like humans, and not all dogs need the same amount of food. It almost goes without saying that a highly active dog will need more food than a less active one. The quality of the dog food you buy also makes a difference - the better the dog food, the more nutrients and satiety it will provide, without you having to constantly check the bowl.

Medium poodle for sale: coat color and brushing

Poodle is a breed that does not shed and is a good choice for people with allergies. Many allergy sufferers are able to keep a poodle without any reaction.

The coat comes in many colors including blue, black, white, gray, silver, brown, brown, apricot and cream. The hair is wavy, wiry and dense, and this unique texture can be trimmed, groomed, shaved and manipulated into all sorts of fancy shapes. However, if your dog will be competing in the show ring, you can't go too wild with the style.

Poodle care is not for the faint-hearted. Poodles require high maintenance, trimmed regularly, every three to six weeks, sometimes more often, to keep the coat in good condition. If you're considering such a dog, consider the expense of grooming. But don't panic. There are many ways to shape the coat for easier grooming. In fact, many owners simply shave it. That said, easy grooming doesn't mean care-free. Even when it's coat is short, your poodle will need to be brushed, bathed and trimmed every three to six weeks, sometimes more often.

Brush your dog's teeth at least two or three times a week to remove tartar buildup and the bacteria that lurks inside. Daily brushing is even better if you want to prevent gum disease and bad breath. Remove your nails once or twice a month. Start getting him used to being brushed and examined when he's a puppy. Frequently handle his paws and check his mouth. With a positive experience full of praise and rewards, you'll lay the groundwork for easy vet exams and other maneuvers when he's an adult.

Medium poodle for sale: relationship with children and other animals

The Poodle is a wonderful companion for children, although small children who don't know how to handle a dog might accidentally hurt it.

As with every breed, however, you need to teach children how to approach and touch dogs and always supervise any interaction between them to prevent any biting. Teach your child never to approach the dog while eating or sleeping or to try to take the dog's food. No dog, however friendly, should be left unattended with a child.

Poodles who grow up with other dogs or pets in the house - or who have plenty of opportunities to interact with them in group training classes, dog parks and the like - will enjoy their company. If your poodle is used to being the only pet in the household, however, it may need some time and special training to help him accept a new addition.
