What else you should know:

Contractual information is available in the terms and conditions of use and can be consulted when submitting your order.

We do not perform or in any way support ear or tail docking practices. We respect our commitment to animal welfare and promote the breeding and care of animals in accordance with animal welfare rules and legislation.

You can choose this preference on the order form in the Vaccination section, where you will find the option "Export Ready". To travel to the European Union, pets need a passport. This can be issued by your veterinarian from the age of 3 months, once the rabies vaccination has been carried out. If you choose delivery to a country other than Romania, the puppy will be shipped after 3 months and 3 weeks of age, at which point it will be vaccinated against rabies, microchipped and will have an international passport.

If you would like your puppy to be accompanied by a Pedigree certificate, please select the appropriate option when placing your order. This document certifies the pedigree of the dog and the authenticity of the breed, and is issued by specialized organizations. We recommend that you consider this option if you want to participate in dog shows or have the guarantee of a pure genetic line.

Transportation in Romania

Puppies can be transported to the client's city, depending on the availability of our routes. If delivery cannot be made to a specific city, this will be communicated in advance to find an optimal solution for the puppy's delivery.
Currently, direct delivery to the customer's address is not possible.

International transport

If you opt for delivery outside Romania, the puppy can only be shipped after the age of 3 months and 3 weeks, at which time it will be vaccinated against rabies, microchipped and will have an international passport. Be sure to choose the Ready for Export option in the Vaccination section when submitting your order.
If transportation cannot be made to the customer's city, this will be communicated in advance in order to identify a convenient delivery solution.
We do not currently offer transportation to the exact address of the customer.

Countries and cities served

  • Italy: Padua, Verona, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Rome
  • Moldova: Chisinau
  • Netherlands: Eindhoven, Breda

If you have questions about transportation or other destinations, please contact us for more information.

We deliver our puppies as soon as possible, but never before the minimum age of 8 weeks, which may vary by breed. Although we want to get your puppy to you as soon as possible, it is essential to respect this interval, both for the puppy's sake and for your own comfort. Premature separation can make care and adaptation considerably more difficult or even jeopardize the puppy's health.

The estimated time to delivery, shown on each breed's page, may be influenced by your preference of sex, size, color or vaccination schedule. For this reason, please take it as a guide. During the selection process, we will keep you up to date with updated information.

For pedigree puppies, identification and verification may take up to 3 months, depending on national availability at the time of order. If you decline a proposal on a puppy, the order remains active and the identification process continues and we will come back with alternatives. In this situation, the delivery time will be extended by the estimated period specified on the page of the breed ordered.

Internal deworming is an essential process in the first months of a puppy's life and is rigorously carried out before each vaccination to eliminate intestinal parasites and pathogens such as Giardia. This can be carried out either by the veterinarian or the breeder, depending on the situation.

We recommend that both internal and external de-worming be carried out within the first week of your puppy's arrival to ensure complete parasite elimination and proper preparation for the next vaccine according to the vaccination schedule. External deworming is indicated immediately after the first bath, followed by a period of 24 hours during which direct contact with the treated area should be avoided.

We are glad to see that you are thinking about training, as it is very important. Puppies are not generally trained before leaving, it is up to the breeder what education they choose to provide the puppy.
However, if you want specific training, this can be done after 4-5 months of age.
All puppies need proper training from their owner upon arrival. If you don't want to hire a trainer, there are several resources that can be found online to help you.

Puppy health is our top priority! We inspect puppies at the owner's location from the time of booking to the time of delivery to ensure they are healthy, happy and well cared for. Once you choose your puppy, we will make sure it is properly vaccinated and shows optimal clinical signs to be transported safely. At the same time, you will benefit from a medical guarantee for viral diseases for which vaccination has been carried out (Parvovirus, Jigodie, Hepatitis, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis or Rabies) for a period of 5 days so that you have enough time to confirm the puppy's good health. For added safety, it is recommended that when placing your order you choose a puppy with multiple vaccinations, as this will give your puppy immunity so that it will not become ill from viruses or bacteria in the external environment.

All our puppies receive the necessary vaccinations and internal deworming according to their age, performed by the breeder or veterinarian.

Of course, we microchip all puppies if this has not been done by the breeder, and the microchip code will always be pasted into their health card. Registration in RECS will be completed as soon as you send us a copy of your ID.

This is possible. The identification and verification steps will be carried out by BucuriaCasei, you will indicate the desired specimen from the photos that will be sent to you so that the veterinarian can properly vaccinate the puppy, and then you will be sent the location so that you can personally pick up the chosen puppy.

You can cancel your order at any time by communicating your intention on WhatsApp, by phone or by email. The identification and verification procedures we carry out for each order involve proportionate costs, which is why the amount of the advance payment paid is non-refundable, except in the following situations:

  • the order is less than 7 days old;
  • the order exceeded by more than 30 days the estimate on the ordered breed page (for dogs without pedigree) or the deadline agreed upon order;
  • the order has exceeded by more than 30 days the 6 months term (for pedigree dogs) or the term agreed at the time of order.

Also, even if you fall into one of the points mentioned above, the refund will not be made in the following situations:

  • you have already chosen a puppy that I have reserved for you;
  • you have refused a specimen that was proposed to you, which is why the order fulfillment deadline is extended by the delivery estimate displayed on the ordered breed page.

If you are eligible for a refund of the advance, 20 lei will be deducted from the refunded amount, related to bank fees. It will be paid into the same bank account from which the payment was made, within a maximum of 14 days.
Submitting an order represents a commitment assumed by both parties.

The price consists of the advance payment of 10% which is paid at the time of sending the order and an estimate to be paid upon delivery. In our activity of identifying and verifying the puppies available in the country we will obtain results and photos that we will send you, accompanied by the price difference that you will pay upon receipt. In case the price sent is higher than the estimated one on the site and it does not represent any obligation to accept the offer, we will continue the checks at other breeders. Although we make efforts to regularly update the prices displayed on the site, they should be treated as information.

Beagle for sale: breed

It's hard to resist the lure of a Beagle's dark brown or hazel eyes and soft expression. This is a happy, walking and loving dog - characteristics more than balanced by their inquisitive, determined and food-focused nature.

Beagles generally get along well with other animals and their human friends. His nose is the most important part of his anatomy, and his head is always lowered to the ground, looking for an interesting trail to follow. The Beagle has about 220 million scent receptors compared to 5 million in humans, making them very good at picking up odors.

You may have seen Beagle noses at work at airports in other countries. In 1984, the U.S. Department of Agriculture decided to use Beagles to detect smuggled food being brought into the United States at Los Angeles International Airport.

The experiment was a huge success. Because it was small, friendly and cute, the Beagle didn't intimidate people who were afraid of dogs and, with the superior power of its nose, was able to identify certain foodstuffs while bypassing those that weren't contraband. Today, members of the "Beagle Brigade" patrol baggage claim areas at more than 20 international airports and other points of entry into the United States.

Because of its small size and gentle temperament, the Beagle can do well in apartments if its human family is willing to walk it outside. He needs plenty of exercise, about an hour a day if possible. If left alone and not exercised, the Beagle can become destructive.

Beagle for sale: brief history

The origin of the word 'beagle' is uncertain. It is thought to be derived from the French word 'begueule', meaning open-necked, or the Old English word 'beag', meaning small.

The history of the breed is also uncertain, as breeds as we know them today didn't really develop until the 19th century. Greek documents from as early as 400 BC describe Beagle-like dogs, and the Romans may have brought small rabbit-hunting dogs with them to England and mated them with local dogs.

William the Conqueror is believed to have brought Talbot dogs (now extinct) to England during the Norman Conquest of 1066. These dogs are believed to be ancestors of the Beagle and Foxhound breeds.

The Beagle became popular in England very early in its history. It was during the reigns of Edward II (1307 - 1327) and Henry VII (1485 - 1509) that extremely small dogs called Glove Beagles were popular. They were supposedly small enough to be held in one hand. There is also mention of Singing Beagles, popular for their voices.

Elizabeth I (1533 - 1603) kept Pocket Beagle dogs that were only 23 cm tall. These small dogs were used for hunting but quickly fell out of favor because they were not very fast.

In the 1700s, foxhunting became popular in England, and the Beagle declined in popularity in favor of the Foxhound breed. Had it not been for farmers in England, Ireland and Wales, who continued to keep Beagles to hunt rabbits, the breed may have become extinct at that time.

In the mid-1800s Reverend Phillip Honeywood brought a pair of Beagles to Essex, England. These dogs are believed to be the ancestors of the modern Beagle. Reverend Honeywood bred these dogs for their hunting skills, not their looks. Thomas Johnson, a fellow Englishman, was responsible for breeding the Beagle breed for hunting as well as appearance.

Around the same time, American breeders began importing Beagles from England to improve the appearance of their dogs. Many of the English imports were bred at an average height of 38 to 43 centimeters so they could hunt fox. Then American breeders began to breed them to be smaller for rabbit hunting.

The American Kennel Club and the first Beagle specialty club were founded in 1884. That same year, the AKC began registering the Beagle breed.

Beagle for sale: size

The American Kennel Club recognizes two types of Beagle. The 33-centimeter variety and the one under 38 cm. Depending on their height, Beagles weigh between 8 and 14 pounds.

Beagle for sale: personality

The Beagle is a gentle, sweet and funny dog. He'll make you laugh, but he'll often make you cry because of his often naughty behavior.

Like any dog, Beagles need early socialization, exposure to many different people, sights, sounds and experiences when they are young.

Beagle for sale: health

Beagles are generally healthy but, like all breeds, they are prone to certain health conditions. Not all dogs will have any of these diseases, but it's important to be aware of them if you're considering this breed.

If you buy a puppy, find a good breeder who will show you the health papers of the puppy's parents. Health certificates show that a dog has been tested and recovered from a particular ailment.

  • Intervertebral disc disease: the spinal cord is surrounded by the spinal column, and between the bones of the spine are intervertebral discs that act as shock absorbers and allow normal movement of the vertebrae. The discs consist of two layers, an outer fibrous layer and an inner jelly-like layer. Intervertebral disc disease occurs when the jelly-like inner layer protrudes into the spinal canal and pushes against the spinal cord. Spinal cord compression can be minimal, causing neck or back pain, or it can be severe, causing loss of sensation, paralysis, and lack of bowel or bladder control. Spinal compression injury can be irreversible. Treatment is based on several factors, including location, severity and length of time between injury and treatment. Surgery is often necessary to relieve pressure on the spinal cord.
  • Hip dysplasia is an inherited condition in which the thigh does not fit snugly into the hip joint. Some dogs show pain and lameness on one or both hind legs, but you may not notice any signs of discomfort in a dog with hip dysplasia. As the dog ages, arthritis may develop. Hip dysplasia is hereditary, but can be aggravated by environmental factors such as rapid growth due to a high-calorie diet or injury.
  • Glaucoma: This is a painful disease in which the pressure in the eye becomes abnormally high. The eye constantly produces and leaks a fluid called aqueous humor - if the fluid doesn't drain properly, the pressure inside the eye increases optic nerve damage and leads to vision loss and blindness. There are two types. Primary glaucoma, which is hereditary, and secondary glaucoma, which is the result of inflammation, a tumor or injury. Glaucoma generally affects one eye primarily, which will be red, watery, painful. A dilated pupil will not react to light, and the front of the eye will have a whitish, almost blue clouding. There will be loss of vision and eventually blindness, sometimes even with treatment (surgery or medication, depending on the case).
  • Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA): This is a degenerative eye condition that eventually causes blindness due to the loss of photoreceptors in the back of the eye. PRA is detectable years before the dog shows signs of blindness. Fortunately, dogs can use their other senses to compensate for blindness, and a blind dog can live a full and happy life.
  • Epilepsy: Beagles can suffer from epilepsy, which causes mild or severe seizures. Seizures can be exhibited by unusual behavior, such as frantic running as if being chased. Seizures are frightening to watch, but the long-term prognosis for dogs with idiopathic epilepsy is generally very good. It's important to remember that seizures can be caused by many things other than idiopathic epilepsy, such as metabolic disorders, infectious diseases affecting the brain, tumors, exposure to poisons, severe head injuries, and more. Therefore, if your Labrador is having seizures, it is important to take him to the vet immediately for a checkup.
  • Dystichiosis: This condition occurs when an extra row of eyelashes (known as distichia) grows on the oil gland in the dog's eye and protrudes over the edge of the eyelid. This irritates the eye. Distichia is treated surgically by freezing the excess eyelashes with liquid nitrogen and then removing them. This type of surgery is called cryoepilation and is done under general anesthesia.
  • Hypothyroidism: hypothyroidism is a condition of the thyroid gland. It is thought to be responsible for conditions such as epilepsy, alopecia (hair loss), obesity, lethargy, hyperpigmentation, pyoderma and other skin conditions. It is treated with medication and diet.
  • Dwarfism: This is a condition in which the dog is smaller than normal. This condition may or may not be accompanied by other physical abnormalities, such as extremely short legs.
  • Chinese Beagle Syndrome (CBS): This is a condition characterized by a broad skull and slanted eyes. Quite often, dogs with CBS have heart problems and toe abnormalities.
  • Patellar luxation: This is a common problem in small dogs, which is because the patella, which has three parts - the femur (thighbone), knee and tibia are not properly aligned. This causes leg disorder or abnormal gait. It is a condition present at birth, although actual dislocation does not always occur until much later. Friction caused by patellar luxation can lead to arthritis, a degenerative joint disease. There are four grades of patellar dislocation, ranging from grade I, an occasional dislocation that causes temporary disturbance in the joint, to grade IV, in which the tibial twist is severe and the patella cannot be realigned manually. Severe degrees of patellar dislocation may require surgery.

Beagle for sale: care

A fenced yard is a must for a dog like the Beagle. He's a wanderer by nature, so in case he escapes - a common occurrence with Beagles - be sure he's microchipped and wearing identification tags on his collar so he can be returned to you.

Positive training techniques work best because Beagles will simply stop obeying when treated roughly. Most dogs of this breed are more than happy to do anything for a delicious treat.

It loves to go for walks with the family or, even better, a good run in a field to chase rabbits (not recommended if you haven't trained the dog to come back to you). He'll love jogging with you, but wait until he's 18 months before starting repetitive exercise like this.

When fully grown, a Beagle can become quite lazy, content to lie around the house all day and getting up only to eat. As this is a breed prone to obesity, don't let this happen.

Beagle for sale: feeding

Recommended daily amount: 3/4 to 1.5 cups of high-quality dry food per day, divided into two meals.

Note: How much your dog eats depends on size, age, build, metabolism and activity level. Dogs are individuals, just like humans, and not all dogs need the same amount of food. It almost goes without saying that an extremely active dog will need more food than a less active one. The quality of the dog food you buy also makes a difference - the better the dog food, the more nutrients and satiety it will provide, without you having to constantly check the bowl.

Beagle for sale: coat color and brushing

The breed standard for the Beagle says "any color" is acceptable. The most common color for the Beagle is tricolor with a black spot (back area), white legs, chest, belly, and a white tip on the tail and tan on the head and around the back.

The second most common color combination is red and white with a spotted pattern on the face, neck, legs and tip of the tail. Whatever its color, it usually has a white tip on its tail so hunters can see it when hunting in tall grass.

The Beagle has a dense, rain-resistant double coat. The coat should be brushed with a medium-bristled brush or glove at least once a week to loosen and remove dead hair and encourage new hair growth.

Beagles shed, but because their hair is short, it's not too noticeable. It's a clean dog and generally doesn't require frequent baths.

Brush your dog's teeth at least two or three times a week to remove tartar buildup and the bacteria that lurks inside. Daily brushing is even better if you want to prevent gum disease and bad breath. Remove your nails once or twice a month. Start getting him used to being brushed and examined when he's a puppy. Frequently handle his paws and check his mouth. With a positive experience full of praise and rewards, you'll lay the groundwork for easy vet exams and other maneuvers when he's an adult.

Beagle for sale: relationship with children and other animals

Beagles have a close bond with everyone in the family, especially children. However, he can be rambunctious when playing, so he needs to be properly socialized and supervised with very young children. In addition, Beagles tend to be 'troublemakers', grabbing things, including your or your child's hand. They do this in jest and can be trained not to do this.

As with every breed, however, you need to teach children how to approach and touch dogs and always supervise any interaction between them to prevent any biting. Teach your child never to approach the dog while eating or sleeping or to try to take the dog's food. No dog, however friendly, should be left unattended with a child.

Beagles enjoy company and don't like to be left alone. Another dog or even a cat will help meet his needs.
