We're there around the clock: pre-delivery advice and post-adoption support to make sure your new companion fits seamlessly into your family. Your happiness is our priority - thousands of happy customers confirm it!
What else you should know:
Contractual information is available in the terms and conditions of use and can be consulted when submitting your order.
We do not perform or in any way support ear or tail docking practices. We respect our commitment to animal welfare and promote the breeding and care of animals in accordance with animal welfare rules and legislation.
You can choose this preference on the order form in the Vaccination section, where you will find the option "Export Ready". To travel to the European Union, pets need a passport. This can be issued by your veterinarian from the age of 3 months, once the rabies vaccination has been carried out. If you choose delivery to a country other than Romania, the puppy will be shipped after 3 months and 3 weeks of age, at which point it will be vaccinated against rabies, microchipped and will have an international passport.
If you would like your puppy to be accompanied by a Pedigree certificate, please select the appropriate option when placing your order. This document certifies the pedigree of the dog and the authenticity of the breed, and is issued by specialized organizations. We recommend that you consider this option if you want to participate in dog shows or have the guarantee of a pure genetic line.
Transportation in Romania
Puppies can be transported to the client's city, depending on the availability of our routes. If delivery cannot be made to a specific city, this will be communicated in advance to find an optimal solution for the puppy's delivery.
Currently, direct delivery to the customer's address is not possible.
International transport
If you opt for delivery outside Romania, the puppy can only be shipped after the age of 3 months and 3 weeks, at which time it will be vaccinated against rabies, microchipped and will have an international passport. Be sure to choose the Ready for Export option in the Vaccination section when submitting your order.
If transportation cannot be made to the customer's city, this will be communicated in advance in order to identify a convenient delivery solution.
We do not currently offer transportation to the exact address of the customer.
Countries and cities served
Transportation is currently available to the following international destinations:
- Hungary: Budapest, Gyor

- Italy: Padua, Verona, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Rome
- Moldova: Chisinau
- Netherlands: Eindhoven, Breda
If you have questions about transportation or other destinations, please contact us for more information.
We deliver our puppies as soon as possible, but never before the minimum age of 8 weeks, which may vary by breed. Although we want to get your puppy to you as soon as possible, it is essential to respect this interval, both for the puppy's sake and for your own comfort. Premature separation can make care and adaptation considerably more difficult or even jeopardize the puppy's health.
The estimated time to delivery, shown on each breed's page, may be influenced by your preference of sex, size, color or vaccination schedule. For this reason, please take it as a guide. During the selection process, we will keep you up to date with updated information.
For pedigree puppies, identification and verification may take up to 3 months, depending on national availability at the time of order. If you decline a proposal on a puppy, the order remains active and the identification process continues and we will come back with alternatives. In this situation, the delivery time will be extended by the estimated period specified on the page of the breed ordered.
Internal deworming is an essential process in the first months of a puppy's life and is rigorously carried out before each vaccination to eliminate intestinal parasites and pathogens such as Giardia. This can be carried out either by the veterinarian or the breeder, depending on the situation.
We recommend that both internal and external de-worming be carried out within the first week of your puppy's arrival to ensure complete parasite elimination and proper preparation for the next vaccine according to the vaccination schedule. External deworming is indicated immediately after the first bath, followed by a period of 24 hours during which direct contact with the treated area should be avoided.
We are glad to see that you are thinking about training, as it is very important. Puppies are not generally trained before leaving, it is up to the breeder what education they choose to provide the puppy.
However, if you want specific training, this can be done after 4-5 months of age.
All puppies need proper training from their owner upon arrival. If you don't want to hire a trainer, there are several resources that can be found online to help you.
Puppy health is our top priority! We inspect puppies at the owner's location from the time of booking to the time of delivery to ensure they are healthy, happy and well cared for. Once you choose your puppy, we will make sure it is properly vaccinated and shows optimal clinical signs to be transported safely. At the same time, you will benefit from a medical guarantee for viral diseases for which vaccination has been carried out (Parvovirus, Jigodie, Hepatitis, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis or Rabies) for a period of 5 days so that you have enough time to confirm the puppy's good health. For added safety, it is recommended that when placing your order you choose a puppy with multiple vaccinations, as this will give your puppy immunity so that it will not become ill from viruses or bacteria in the external environment.
All our puppies receive the necessary vaccinations and internal deworming according to their age, performed by the breeder or veterinarian.
Of course, we microchip all puppies if this has not been done by the breeder, and the microchip code will always be pasted into their health card. Registration in RECS will be completed as soon as you send us a copy of your ID.
This is possible. The identification and verification steps will be carried out by BucuriaCasei, you will indicate the desired specimen from the photos that will be sent to you so that the veterinarian can properly vaccinate the puppy, and then you will be sent the location so that you can personally pick up the chosen puppy.
You can cancel your order at any time by communicating your intention on WhatsApp, by phone or by email. The identification and verification procedures we carry out for each order involve proportionate costs, which is why the amount of the advance payment paid is non-refundable, except in the following situations:
- the order is less than 7 days old;
- the order exceeded by more than 30 days the estimate on the ordered breed page (for dogs without pedigree) or the deadline agreed upon order;
- the order has exceeded by more than 30 days the 6 months term (for pedigree dogs) or the term agreed at the time of order.
Also, even if you fall into one of the points mentioned above, the refund will not be made in the following situations:
- you have already chosen a puppy that I have reserved for you;
- you have refused a specimen that was proposed to you, which is why the order fulfillment deadline is extended by the delivery estimate displayed on the ordered breed page.
If you are eligible for a refund of the advance, 20 lei will be deducted from the refunded amount, related to bank fees. It will be paid into the same bank account from which the payment was made, within a maximum of 14 days.
Submitting an order represents a commitment assumed by both parties.
The price consists of the advance payment of 10% which is paid at the time of sending the order and an estimate to be paid upon delivery. In our activity of identifying and verifying the puppies available in the country we will obtain results and photos that we will send you, accompanied by the price difference that you will pay upon receipt. In case the price sent is higher than the estimated one on the site and it does not represent any obligation to accept the offer, we will continue the checks at other breeders. Although we make efforts to regularly update the prices displayed on the site, they should be treated as information.

German Dog for sale: breed
The Great Dane or Great Dane was originally bred to hunt wild boar, but probably won't be very good today. Now it is a gentle soul that generally gets on well with other dogs, animals and people. However, its size and loud barking will scare off thieves.
The German Mastiff was developed from Mastiff-type dogs, but is more refined than other descendants of this ancient breed. The Great Dane is elegant, has an athletic, muscular body, its massive head is long and narrow, it has a long, graceful neck, and its ears can be cropped or left natural. (Cropped ears are common in the United States, but in other countries, ear cropping is prohibited.)
His size can present problems, but fortunately he's not a high-energy powerhouse. Nonetheless, a Great Dogo is a sweet, affectionate companion. He loves to play and is gentle with children. He has a peaceful disposition, although he hasn't lost any of the courage that helped him hunt wild boar. Although not particularly vocal, he would not hesitate to defend his family.
Even given his inherent gentleness, it is recommended to teach him good manners and attend training when he is young. Eager to please and people-oriented, he demands a great deal of attention from those around him.
Surprisingly, the Great Dane usually doesn't eat as much food as you'd think. And although he needs daily exercise, he doesn't need a huge yard to play in (although he'd certainly enjoy one).
Thanks to its beauty and gentle nature, more and more people are discovering the German Hound. It currently ranks 24th in popularity, according to American Kennel Club records.
Just be aware that, due to its size, it has a relatively short lifespan of about eight years. That means it occupies a huge space in your heart for a short time.
German Dog for sale: brief history
Drawings of dogs that look like the Great Dogo have been found on Egyptian artifacts dating back to 3000 BC and in Babylonian temples that were built around 2000 BC. There is evidence that similar dogs originated in Tibet, with written reports of these dogs appearing in Chinese literature in 1121 BC.
The breed is believed to have been brought to different parts of the world by the Assyrians, who gave the dogs to the Greeks and Romans. The Greeks and Romans then bred these dogs with other breeds. Ancestors of the English Mastiff were probably involved in the development of the breed, and some people believe that the Irish Wolfhound or Greyhound may have also played a role.
Great Danes were originally called Boar Hounds because they were bred to hunt wild boar. Their ears were cropped to prevent them from being torn off by wild boars. In the 16th century, the breed's name was changed to 'English Hounds'.
In the late 1600s, however, many German nobles began to keep the largest and most handsome of their dogs in their homes, calling them Kammerhunde (chamber dogs). These dogs were pampered and wore velvet-lined golden collars.
The name German Dog or Great Dane originated in the 1700s, when a French naturalist traveled to Denmark and saw a version of the Boar Hound that was slimmer and more Greyhound-like in appearance. He named this dog the Grand Danois, which eventually became the Great Dane, with the more massive examples of the breed called Danish Mastiffs. The name stuck, even though Denmark did not develop the breed.
Most historians give credit to German breeders for refining the breed to be the well-balanced and elegant dog we love today. In 1880, breeders and judges held a meeting in Berlin and agreed that because the dogs they bred were different from the English Mastiff, they would give it its own name - Deutsche Dogge (German Dog).
They founded the Deutscher Doggen-Klub in Germany and many other European countries have also taken the name. However, Italians and English-speaking countries did not accept the name. (Even today, Italians call the breed Alano, meaning Mastiff; and in English-speaking countries, of course, it's called Great Dane.)
Throughout the late 1800s, wealthy German breeders continued to perfect the breed. They turned their attention to the dog's temperament, as the Great Dane had aggressive, ferocious temperaments, due to the fact that he was originally bred to hunt boar, a particularly ferocious beast. These breeders tried to produce gentler animals and - fortunately for us today - they succeeded.
We don't know when the first Great Great Danes were brought to the U.S., or even where they came from, but the Great Dane Club of America was formed in 1889. It was the fourth breed club allowed to join the American Kennel Club.
German Dog for sale: size
Males are between 76 and 84 cm tall and weigh between 54 and 91 kg. Females are between 71 and 81 cm tall and weigh between 45 and 59 kg.
German Dog for sale: personality
A well-behaved German Dog is one of the best dogs around. It is a gentle, sweet, affectionate pet that loves to play and is relaxed with children. He has a great willingness to please, which makes him easy to train.
The Great Dane wants to be where the family is. He is very fond of people, including strangers and children, and will greet visitors happily unless he feels you need defending, being a strong protector.
Just like any dog, the Great Dane needs early socialization: exposure to lots of people, sights, sounds and experiences when young.
Regularly inviting visitors and taking him to busy parks, dog-friendly shops and on leisurely walks to meet other people will also help him polish his social skills.
German Dog for sale: health
Great Danes are generally healthy, but like all breeds, they are prone to certain health conditions. Not all dogs will have any of these diseases, but it is important to be aware of them if you are considering this breed.
If you buy a puppy, find a good breeder who will show you the health papers of the puppy's parents. Health certificates show that a dog has been tested and recovered from a particular ailment.
- Developmental problems: can develop in puppies and young adults. They are sometimes associated with poor diet, often a diet too high in protein, calcium or supplements.
- Hip dysplasia is an inherited condition in which the thigh does not fit snugly into the hip joint. Some dogs show pain and lameness on one or both hind legs, but you may not notice any signs of discomfort in a dog with hip dysplasia. As the dog ages, arthritis may develop. Hip dysplasia is hereditary, but can be aggravated by environmental factors such as rapid growth due to a high-calorie diet or injury.
- Gastric Dilation: This is a life-threatening condition that can affect a Great Dane, especially if he is fed a large meal a day, eats quickly, drinks large amounts of water and then exercises vigorously after eating. Some believe that many meals a day and the type of food could also be factors for dilation. This problem occurs more commonly in older dogs, but can occur at any age. Gastric dilatation occurs when the stomach is expanded with gas or air and then twisted. The dog can't burp or vomit to get rid of the excess air in the stomach, and the normal return of blood to the heart is prevented. Blood pressure drops and the dog goes into shock. Without immediate medical attention, the dog may die. Gastric dilatation may be suspected when your dog has a distended abdomen, drools excessively and burps without vomiting. He may also be restless, depressed, lethargic and sluggish with a rapid heart rate. It's important that your pet gets to the vet as soon as possible. There are some indications that gastric dilatation is inherited, so neutering dogs that develop this condition is recommended.
- Bone cancer: sometimes known as osteosarcoma, this is the most common bone tumor found in dogs. It is usually seen in middle-aged or older dogs, but larger breeds such as Great Danes tend to develop tumors at young ages. Generally affecting large and huge breeds, osteosarcoma is an aggressive bone cancer. The first sign is lameness, but the dog will need X-rays to determine if cancer is the cause. Osteosarcoma is treated aggressively, usually with amputation of the limb and chemotherapy. With treatment, dogs can live nine months to two years or more. Fortunately, dogs adapt well to life on three legs.
- Heart disease: heart diseases such as dilated cardiomyopathy, mitral valve defects, tricuspid valve dysplasia, subaortic stenosis and persistent right aortic arch affect Great Danes. Prognosis and treatment vary depending on the specific disorder and the dog's age and general health.
- Surgery: Surgical problems are slightly different for Great Danes than for smaller dogs. For any surgery needed, find a surgeon experienced with giant-breed dogs.
German Dog for sale: care
Despite its huge size, a German Hound is soft enough to be a good house dog, although it's not too suitable for a tiny apartment.
It can get cold in winter, so it shouldn't be left outside in colder climates.
He is relatively quiet indoors, but needs a long walk at least once a day or a big yard to play in. An adult needs 30 to 60 minutes of daily exercise, depending on his age and activity level. Puppies and teenagers need about 90 minutes of exercise a day.
If you plan to keep him in a yard occasionally, you'll need a six-foot fence, although he's not a jumper. If you're a fan of gardening, you have to understand that he really likes to destroy the landscape.
Don't let your puppy run and play on very hard surfaces, such as the sidewalk, until he is at least two years old and his joints are fully formed. Normal play on grass is fine. Swimming is an ideal form of exercise for a German Dog puppy, as it works its muscles without the danger of injuring its joints.
Train him with kindness and consistency, using positive reinforcement including food rewards and praise. The animal that is treated harshly will simply become more stubborn and less willing to do what you want.
German Dog for sale: feeding
Diet is more important for a fast-growing giant-breed puppy like the German German dog than for most breeds. A German Dog puppy should never eat ordinary puppy food because it is too rich for him; he needs puppy food designed for large breeds. Best not to supplement with anything, especially not calcium.
Assuming a high-quality food, the amount varies greatly according to age and gender. However, the generalized daily amounts are:
- Three to six months: females, 3 - 6 cups; males, 4 - 8 cups.
- Eight months to one year: females, 5 - 8 cups; males, 6 - 10 cups.
- Adolescents: females, 8 cups; males, 9 - 15 cups.
- Adults: females, 6 - 8 cups; males 8 - 10 cups.
By the age of four to five months, a German dog puppy should have three meals a day. After that, give it two meals a day. He should never have only one meal a day.
German Dog for sale: coat color and brushing
The six common colors of the short, smooth coats of the German Shorthaired Pointers are:
- Fawn (a golden color with a black mask)
- Brindle (gray and black braided all over in a tiger stripe pattern)
- Blue (steel blue, which is really a kind of gray)
- Black
- Harlequin (white with irregular black patches all over)
- Blanket (black and white with a solid black blanket over the body)
He sheds a lot, but the coat is easy to keep in peak condition with regular brushing. Regular brushing keeps the coat healthy and clean and reduces the number of baths he needs. As you can imagine, bathing a German Hound is a daunting task, especially if he's not looking forward to it.
Brush your dog's teeth at least two or three times a week to remove tartar buildup and the bacteria that lurks inside. Daily brushing is even better if you want to prevent gum disease and bad breath. Remove your nails once or twice a month. Start getting him used to being brushed and examined when he's a puppy. Frequently handle his paws and check his mouth. With a positive experience full of praise and rewards, you'll lay the groundwork for easy vet exams and other maneuvers when he's an adult.
German Dog for sale: relationship with children and other animals
A Great Dogo loves children and is gentle with them, especially when raised with them from infancy. Keep in mind that he has no idea how big he is compared to a toddler and can therefore accidentally accident them quite easily.
As with every breed, however, you need to teach children how to approach and touch dogs and always supervise any interaction between them to prevent any biting. Teach your child never to approach the dog while eating or sleeping or to try to take the dog's food. No dog, however friendly, should be left unattended with a child.
In general, a German Dog will get along with other pets in the household, but from time to time some it may be aggressive with the animals, or may not take care of the other pets.
