What else you should know:

Contractual information is available in the terms and conditions of use and can be consulted when submitting your order.

We do not perform or in any way support ear or tail docking practices. We respect our commitment to animal welfare and promote the breeding and care of animals in accordance with animal welfare rules and legislation.

You can choose this preference on the order form in the Vaccination section, where you will find the option "Export Ready". To travel to the European Union, pets need a passport. This can be issued by your veterinarian from the age of 3 months, once the rabies vaccination has been carried out. If you choose delivery to a country other than Romania, the puppy will be shipped after 3 months and 3 weeks of age, at which point it will be vaccinated against rabies, microchipped and will have an international passport.

If you would like your puppy to be accompanied by a Pedigree certificate, please select the appropriate option when placing your order. This document certifies the pedigree of the dog and the authenticity of the breed, and is issued by specialized organizations. We recommend that you consider this option if you want to participate in dog shows or have the guarantee of a pure genetic line.

Transportation in Romania

Puppies can be transported to the client's city, depending on the availability of our routes. If delivery cannot be made to a specific city, this will be communicated in advance to find an optimal solution for the puppy's delivery.

International transport

If you opt for delivery outside Romania, the puppy can only be shipped after the age of 3 months and 3 weeks, at which time it will be vaccinated against rabies, microchipped and will have an international passport. Be sure to choose the Ready for Export option in the Vaccination section when submitting your order.
If transportation cannot be made to the customer's city, this will be communicated in advance in order to identify a convenient delivery solution.
We do not currently offer transportation to the exact address of the customer.

Countries and cities served

If you have questions about transportation or other destinations, please contact us for more information.

We deliver our puppies as soon as possible, but never before the minimum age of 8 weeks, which may vary by breed. Although we want to get your puppy to you as soon as possible, it is essential to respect this interval, both for the puppy's sake and for your own comfort. Premature separation can make care and adaptation considerably more difficult or even jeopardize the puppy's health.

The estimated time to delivery, shown on each breed's page, may be influenced by your preference of sex, size, color or vaccination schedule. For this reason, please take it as a guide. During the selection process, we will keep you up to date with updated information.

For pedigree puppies, identification and verification may take up to 3 months, depending on national availability at the time of order. If you decline a proposal on a puppy, the order remains active and the identification process continues and we will come back with alternatives. In this situation, the delivery time will be extended by the estimated period specified on the page of the breed ordered.

Internal deworming is an essential process in the first months of a puppy's life and is rigorously carried out before each vaccination to eliminate intestinal parasites and pathogens such as Giardia. This can be carried out either by the veterinarian or the breeder, depending on the situation.

We recommend that both internal and external de-worming be carried out within the first week of your puppy's arrival to ensure complete parasite elimination and proper preparation for the next vaccine according to the vaccination schedule. External deworming is indicated immediately after the first bath, followed by a period of 24 hours during which direct contact with the treated area should be avoided.

We are glad to see that you are thinking about training, as it is very important. Puppies are not generally trained before leaving, it is up to the breeder what education they choose to provide the puppy.
However, if you want specific training, this can be done after 4-5 months of age.
All puppies need proper training from their owner upon arrival. If you don't want to hire a trainer, there are several resources that can be found online to help you.

Puppy health is our top priority! We inspect puppies at the owner's location from the time of booking to the time of delivery to ensure they are healthy, happy and well cared for. Once you choose your puppy, we will make sure it is properly vaccinated and shows optimal clinical signs to be transported safely. At the same time, you will benefit from a medical guarantee for viral diseases for which vaccination has been carried out (Parvovirus, Jigodie, Hepatitis, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis or Rabies) for a period of 5 days so that you have enough time to confirm the puppy's good health. For added safety, it is recommended that when placing your order you choose a puppy with multiple vaccinations, as this will give your puppy immunity so that it will not become ill from viruses or bacteria in the external environment.

All our puppies receive the necessary vaccinations and internal deworming according to their age, performed by the breeder or veterinarian.

Of course, we microchip all puppies if this has not been done by the breeder, and the microchip code will always be pasted into their health card. Registration in RECS will be completed as soon as you send us a copy of your ID.

This is possible. The identification and verification steps will be carried out by BucuriaCasei, you will indicate the desired specimen from the photos that will be sent to you so that the veterinarian can properly vaccinate the puppy, and then you will be sent the location so that you can personally pick up the chosen puppy.

You can cancel your order at any time by communicating your intention on WhatsApp, by phone or by email. The identification and verification procedures we carry out for each order involve proportionate costs, which is why the amount of the advance payment paid is non-refundable, except in the following situations:

  • the order is less than 7 days old;
  • the order exceeded by more than 30 days the estimate on the ordered breed page (for dogs without pedigree) or the deadline agreed upon order;
  • the order has exceeded by more than 30 days the 6 months term (for pedigree dogs) or the term agreed at the time of order.

Also, even if you fall into one of the points mentioned above, the refund will not be made in the following situations:

  • you have already chosen a puppy that I have reserved for you;
  • you have refused a specimen that was proposed to you, which is why the order fulfillment deadline is extended by the delivery estimate displayed on the ordered breed page.

If you are eligible for a refund of the advance, 20 lei will be deducted from the refunded amount, related to bank fees. It will be paid into the same bank account from which the payment was made, within a maximum of 14 days.
Submitting an order represents a commitment assumed by both parties.

The price consists of the advance payment of 10% which is paid at the time of sending the order and an estimate to be paid upon delivery. In our activity of identifying and verifying the puppies available in the country we will obtain results and photos that we will send you, accompanied by the price difference that you will pay upon receipt. In case the price sent is higher than the estimated one on the site and it does not represent any obligation to accept the offer, we will continue the checks at other breeders. Although we make efforts to regularly update the prices displayed on the site, they should be treated as information.

Pug for sale: rhandle

Little Pug's comical face, with deep wrinkles around his large, dark eyes and round face, is sure to make you smile. His name is thought to come from the Latin word for 'fist', as his face resembles a human fist.

This breed is made up of dogs that are playful, ready and able to play, but are also loving and need to be close to their people. Pugs love to be the center of attention and resent being ignored.

Pugs usually weigh no more than 9 kilograms. Its head is large and round, with huge eyes and deep, distinct wrinkles on its face. Legend has it that the Chinese prized these wrinkles because they resemble symbols of good luck. His ears are smooth, black and velvety. It has a distinctive jaw (the lower teeth extend slightly beyond the upper teeth) and a well-curled tail.

With a wise personality, Pugs are happy and affectionate, loyal and charming, playful and mischievous. They are highly intelligent, however, they can be stubborn, which makes training difficult.

Pugs can be good guard dogs. If trained and well socialized, he gets on well with other animals and children. Because it is a small, quiet breed and is relatively inactive when indoors, it is a good choice for apartment dwellers. Because of its flat face shape, it does not do well in extremely hot or cold weather and should be kept indoors.

Pug for sale: brief history

Pugs are native to China, dating back to the Han Dynasty (206 BC - 200 AD). Some historians believe they are related to the Tibetan Mastiff. They were prized by the Emperors of China and lived in luxurious accommodations, sometimes even guarded by soldiers.

The Pug is one of three types of short-nosed dogs known to have been bred by the Chinese. Some believe the famous 'Foo dogs' of China are representations of the ancient Pug. Evidence of Pug-like dogs has been found in ancient Tibet and Japan.

In the late 1500's and early 1600's, China began trading with European countries. Reportedly, the first hounds brought to Europe came with Dutch traders, who named the breed Mopshond, a name still used today.

Pugs have quickly become a favorite of royal households across Europe and have even played a role in the history of many families. In the Netherlands, the Pug became the official dog of the House of Orania after a Pug saved the life of William, Prince of Orania, by warning him in 1572 that the Spanish were approaching. When William of Orania (later called William III ) went to England in 1688 with his wife, Mary II, to take the throne from James II, they brought their pugs with them.

Black chickens are known to have existed in the 1700s because the famous artist, William Hogarth, was a fan of the breed. He depicted a black Pug and many others in his famous paintings. In 1785, Goya also depicted Pugs in his paintings.

As the Pug's popularity spread throughout Europe, it was often known by different names. In France, it was called Carlin; in Spain Dogullo; in Germany Mops; and in Italy, Caganlino.

Marie Antoinette had a Pug called Mops before she married Louis XVI at the age of 15. Another famous Frenchwoman, Josephine Bonaparte, had a Pug named Fortune. Before she married Napoleon Bonaparte, she was imprisoned at Les Carmes prison. As her beloved Pug was the only 'visitor' she was allowed, she would hide messages in his collar to take to her family.

In the early 1800s, pugs were standardized as a breed with two lines, becoming dominant in England. One line was called the Morrison line and was apparently founded on the royal dogs of Queen Charlotte, wife of George III. The other line was developed by Lord and Lady Willoughby d'Eresby and was founded on dogs imported from Russia or Hungary.

Pugs were first exhibited in England in 1861. Meanwhile, in China, the Pug breed continued to be bred by royal families. When the British stumbled across the Chinese Imperial Palace in 1860, they discovered several dogs of the breed and brought some puppies with them to England.

Two purebreds named Lamb and Moss were brought to England. These two 'pure' Chinese lines were bred and gave birth to Click. He was an exceptional dog and is credited for the modern Pug as we know it today.

Pugs became very popular in the Victorian period and were featured in many paintings, postcards and figurines of the period. They were often depicted wearing wide, decorative collars or large bows around their short, thick necks.

Pugs were introduced to the United States after the Civil War, and the breed was recognized by the American Kennel Club in 1885. At first, they were very popular, but by the turn of the century, interest in the breed waned. A few dedicated breeders continued to breed them, and after a few years the breed regained its popularity. Founded in 1931, the Pug Dog Club of America was also recognized by the AKC that year.

Pug for sale: size

Pugs weigh between 6 and 8 kilograms. They are generally between 25 and 36 cm tall.

Pug for sale: personality

Don't expect a Pug to hunt, guard or retrieve. Pugs were bred to be companions and that's exactly what they do best. The Pug craves affection and is very unhappy if he doesn't get it.

He tends to be a sedentary dog, content to sit on your lap while you read a book or watch a movie. That doesn't mean the Pug is a "shut-in." On the contrary. It's a playful, comical dog that likes to live life to the fullest and delights its owner with its antics.

Temperament is affected by a number of factors, including heredity, training, and socialization. Puppies with nice temperaments are curious and playful, willing to approach people and be held by them.

Like any dog, the Pug needs early socialization: exposure to lots of people, sights, sounds and experiences when young.

Pug for sale: health

Pugs are generally healthy, but like all breeds, they are prone to certain health conditions. Not all Pug dogs will have any of these diseases, but it is important to be aware of them if you are considering this breed.

If you are buying a puppy, find a good breeder who will show you the health records of the puppy's parents. Health certificates prove that a dog has been tested and recovered from a specific condition.

  • Cheyletiellosis: this is a skin condition that is caused by a tiny mite. If you notice dandruff, especially in the middle of the back, contact your vet. The mites that cause this condition are contagious, which means that all pets in the household must be treated.
  • Pug Encephalitis (PDE): PDE is a fatal inflammatory brain disease unique to Pugs. Medical researchers don't know why Pugs develop this condition; there is no test for it or to treat it. A diagnosis of PDE can only be made by testing the dog's brain tissue after it dies. PDE usually affects young dogs, causing them to go blind, then fall into a coma and die. This can happen within days or weeks. Since PDE appears to have a genetic component, the Pug Dog Club of America, along with the American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation, is sponsoring research projects to try to learn more about this devastating disease.
  • Epilepsy: PDE is not the only thing that can cause seizures. Pugs are prone to a condition called idiopathic epilepsy: seizures for no known reason. If your Pug has seizures, take him to the vet to determine what treatment is appropriate.
  • Nerve degeneration: Older pugs that have trouble jumping up and down or become incontinent may suffer from nerve degeneration. Affected pugs don't seem to have pain and the condition usually progresses slowly. Researchers are not sure why the problem occurs. Your vet may be able to prescribe medication to help relieve symptoms.
  • Corneal ulcer: Because his eyes are so large and protruding, they can easily be injured or develop ulcers on the cornea (the clear part of the eye). Corneal ulcers usually respond to medication, but if left untreated, can cause blindness.
  • Dry eyes: Keratoconjunctivitis sicca and keratitis pigmentosa are two conditions seen in Pugs. They can occur at the same time, or individually. Dry eye is caused when the eyes don't produce enough tears to stay moist. Your veterinarian can perform tests to determine if this is the cause and that can be controlled with medication and special care. Keratitis pigmentosa is a condition that causes dark spots on the cornea, especially in the corner near the nose. If the pigment covers the eye, it can cause blindness. Your veterinarian may prescribe medications that can help keep the eyes moist and dissolve the pigment. Both eye conditions require lifelong therapy and care.
  • Eye problems: Because their large eyes bulge, Pugs are prone to a variety of eye problems, including proptosis (the eyeball is detached from the socket of the eye); dysthychia (an abnormal growth of the eyelashes at the edge of the eye, leading to rubbing of the eyelashes); Progressive retinal atrophy (a degenerative disease of the visual cells of the retina that leads to blindness); entropion (the eyelid usually rolls inward, causing the hairs to rub against the eye and irritate it).
  • Allergies: Some dogs suffer from a range of allergies, from contact to food allergies. If your Pug is rubbing his face a lot, suspect allergies and take him for a vet check.
  • Demodicosis: All dogs carry a small “passenger” called a demodex mite. The female dog passes this mite to her puppies in the first few days of life. The mite cannot be transmitted to humans or other dogs. Demodex mites live in hair follicles and usually do not cause problems. If your Pug has a weakened or compromised immune system, however, he may develop demodicosis. Demodicosis can be localized or generalized. In the localized form, patches of red, scaly skin with hair loss appear on the head, neck, and front legs. You should take your dog to the vet because this problem can turn into the generalized form. Generalized demodicosis covers the entire body and affects puppies and young adult dogs. The dog develops unsightly skin, patches, and skin infections all over the body.
  • Staph infection: The bacteria are commonly found on the skin, but some dogs will develop infection if their immune system is compromised. You should consult your vet for appropriate treatment.
  • Fungal Infection: If your Pug smells bad, is itchy and has blackened, thickened skin, it may have a fungal infection. Usually affected are the armpits, legs, groin, neck and inside the ears. Your veterinarian may prescribe medication to eliminate this.
  • Hemivertebra: This is a malformation of one or more vertebrae that causes it to have a wedge or triangle shape. This malformation can occur on its own or with other vertebral malformations. Hemivertebra may not cause problems or put pressure on the spinal cord. This can lead to pain, weakness and paralysis. There is no treatment for the condition unless there is pressure on the spinal cord.
  • Hip dysplasia: This commonly occurs in the Pug breed. Many factors, including genetics, environment and diet, are thought to contribute to this deformity of the hip joint. Some dogs affected by this problem may be able to lead a normal, healthy life, but some may require surgery to move around easily.
  • Patellar luxation: This is a common problem in small dogs that occurs when the patella, which has three parts – the femur (thigh bone), kneecap and tibia, is not aligned properly. This causes a limp or abnormal gait. It is a condition that is present at birth, although the actual dislocation does not always appear until much later. The friction caused by patellar luxation can lead to arthritis, a degenerative joint disease. There are four degrees of patellar luxation, ranging from grade I, an occasional dislocation that causes temporary dislocation of the joint, to grade IV, in which the tibia is severely out of place and the patella cannot be manually realigned. Severe degrees of patellar luxation may require surgery.
  • Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease: If your Pug has Legg-Perthes, the blood supply to the head of the femur (the large bone of the hind legs) is decreased, and the head of the femur that connects to the pelvis begins to disintegrate. The first symptoms, limb and leg muscle atrophy, usually appear when the puppies are four to six months old. Surgery can correct the condition, usually resulting in a pain-free puppy.
  • Vaccine sensitivity: There are reports of Pugs suffering from sensitivity to routine vaccinations. Symptoms usually include hives, facial swelling, pain and lethargy. A vaccine-sensitive dog can develop complications or die, although this is rare. Watch your Pug carefully a few hours after he's been vaccinated and call your vet if you notice anything unusual.

Pug for sale: care

Although playful and rambunctious, the Pug is a low-maintenance companion, making it ideal for older owners. Because it's a small, quiet breed and is relatively inactive when indoors, it's also a good choice for apartment dwellers.

Pugs have a high amount of energy, so expect to be entertained by their craziness if they don't get a walk or play. However, it is sensitive to heat and humidity, so if it lives in a hot or humid environment, make sure your Pug doesn't spend too much time outside.

Pug for sale: feeding

Recommended daily amount: 1/2 to 1 cup of high-quality dry food per day, divided into two meals. Note: How much your adult dog eats depends on size, age, build, metabolism and activity level. Dogs are individuals, just like humans, and not all dogs need the same amount of food. It almost goes without saying that an extremely active dog will need more food compared to a less active one. The quality of the dog food you buy also makes a difference - the better the food, the more nutrients and satiety it will provide, without you having to constantly check the bowl.

Pug for sale: coat color and brushing

Although the hair is short, it has a double coat. Pugs are usually black or black in color. The color can have different shades. The coat is short and smooth, but don't be fooled. Pugs shed hair everywhere, especially in summer. A wise Pug owner accepts this and adapts his wardrobe accordingly, wearing light-colored clothes that hide the hair better.

Pugs are fairly easy to care for and only need an occasional brushing to keep their coat healthy. Start grooming your dog from an early age and teach him to sit on a table or floor to make the experience easier for both of you. When caring for your pet at any stage of life, take the time to check for scabs, skin lesions, spots, rough, black skin or signs of infection. You should also check the ears, eyes and teeth for any problems or bad smells. Both are signs that your pug may need to see your vet.

Clean their ears regularly with a warm, damp cloth and run a cotton swab around the edge of the canal. Never stick the cotton swab into the actual ear canal. If the edges of the ears are dry, apply mineral or baby oil. The oil can also be used on a dry nose.

Pug dogs do not naturally wear their nails and will need them trimmed regularly. This prevents splitting and tearing, which can be painful for the dog.

Keep facial wrinkles clean and dry to prevent bacterial infections. Whenever you bathe your dog, thoroughly dry the skin between the folds. A monthly bath is required and use a high-quality dog shampoo to keep the natural oils in his skin and coat.

Pugs should be easy to care for, and with proper training and positive experiences during childhood, grooming can be a wonderful bonding time for you and your dog.

Pug for sale: relationship with children and other animals

Pugs love children. Although small, the Pug is not a delicate dog like some toy breeds, so it's a good choice for families with children. However, children who want an active pet to retrieve balls or play soccer will be disappointed by a Pug. Adults should always supervise interactions between children and pets.

Properly trained and socialized, Pugs enjoy the companionship of dogs and can be trusted with cats, rabbits and other animals.
